That said I thought that would be the case for the last three Mondays but having to get the cat put to sleep, then having Mich's mum fall and break her wrist and finally having her Mum get taken really seriously ill while in hospital (not the hospital's fault) and die have all combined to rather put a damper on things of late.
Sorry to hear that Hammy. My thoughts are with you and Michelle at this time.

If you aren't at the club I will drop you a mail on Tuesday - I am after a loan of figures :) I can't do all the Santa thingy wotsits if I end up in the later period.

Army Types

Post by philqw78 »

Lots of different armies entered.

In the early period it seems no one has come up with an answer to the Dom Rom swarm so have given up. 28 (i think)** different choices, only 4 Dom Rom, and one of them is Tim's so that doesn't really count as swarm, more lucky amatuer  *. So anybodys game, providing enough people play sensible with Graham and get a draw against him. Unfortunately my army won't allow me to do that as I am one of the only two true armies with bollocks in there.

In the later HYW/WoR is the major with six, but its most succesful proponent, Bruce, has ditched the longbow for fancy shooty cavalry. What a tart. Ottoman and Catalan have 4 picks each. IMO the ottomans should do the catalans who should in turn be beaten by longbow who should in turn die to the catalans. So perhaps someone outside this viscious circle may win.

*something Tim said about me
** second count

It's very simple everytime you have a translation problem just say slowly and clearly 'Would you like a drink?' :D This always solves the problem.
