I still cant believe that there wont be any long campaigns in the future. Im pretty sure we will see at least one in near future.
And ofc Cyrenica is a surebuy, but i hope for Berlin or Stalingrad as next Frontlines DLC

It doesnt. The war is almost over, makes no sense to start a "campaign" at this stage of the war. You dont play Fifa and start in minute 80... when it is already 3:0.
It seems you might have run into the same bug I had. Just to clarify, is the below happening?
Basically yes. This originally confused me too. It should have been better clarified somehow in the game, and probably was but easy to miss.Tassadar wrote: ↑Sun Mar 23, 2025 11:42 amIt seems you might have run into the same bug I had. Just to clarify, is the below happening?
1. The mission starts as normal, but there is no additional pop-up upon the mission start telling about the ship, just the info you had in scenario briefing.
2. You move the truck to the zone with explosives to pick them up. They disappear (technically they get undeployed) and a message shows up "Explosive secured. To the San Giorgio, now!!".
3. Once the truck reaches the ship it also disappears (again, if you check the units list it just gets undeployed) , and you get the "The San Giorgio will never be caught by the British. Set it ablaze!" message. However, there is no pop-up about the objective being a success and in the next mission your core slots get reduced by two, as it you never did the objective.
Is this correct?
To chime in, I had exactly this problem in the beta (did not try the 'real' DLC). I saw no way to avoid the 2 core slot penalty for supposedly not destroying the ship.Tassadar wrote: ↑Sun Mar 23, 2025 11:42 amIt seems you might have run into the same bug I had. There´s an easy to spot LUA error(more like a missspelling) causing this.
Depending on the mission it is -2 or -4 if you do not do the bonuses. Still, the script in this mission is bugged, or does not run at all for some reason. Each bonus objective is translated to hidden "commendation points" and they give extra core slots according to this formula:adiekmann wrote: ↑Sun Mar 23, 2025 11:06 pm Basically yes. Once the defensive maps for the Italians begin, you begin a steady decline in core slots. I think it is -2 per scenario. Each time you achieve the secondary bonus objectives, it rewards you +2 core slots, thus canceling it out. The confusion occurs because you begin the next scenario with the same amount and yet it appears as if there's a bug and you didn't get the reward when in fact you actually did.
Which one is it? I'm dying out of curiosity, as I tired to find it to fix on my end (as I play on GOG it does not block achievements as they don't exist anyway there), but could not figure that one out and now you got me interested in finding out, just to see what I missed.
Hmmm....I do not know lua code so I never checked it. I just checked my save file for the beginning of the following scenario and it indeed shows that I have 58 core slots, down from the 60 I had in the Tobruk mission before it. I never noticed it before. So yes indeed, it is in the Italian Tobruk scenario where you miss out. I checked as far as Retreat from Bengahzi and I only have 58 slots from there on out.Tassadar wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 4:18 pmDepending on the mission it is -2 or -4 if you do not do the bonuses. 6, --1 cp reward
10, --2 cp reward
12, --3 cp reward
14, --4 cp reward
16, --5 cp reward
20, --6 cp reward
24 --7 cp reward
Italian scenario 7 should give you 2 extra core slots (equal to the 3 commendation points award), and even has this noted in the lua file on my screen added below. This means that as long as you do every bonus objective, then after The Defense of Sidi Barrani scenario you should constantly have 60 core slots even when the base number decreases over time (and 64 in the very last mission). This however does not happen with the Tobruk mission, so the player essentially gets -2 core slots onward and is stuck at 58 even if they do other bonuses perfectly.
They already announced the DLC in a PC2 dedicated stream last summer.
