Glad to have you! When we get 16 people (which should be soon hopefully), you'll be paired with another person and the two of you can decide which armies to take. It's up to you and your partner on what army to take (you can talk strategy and try and pick the one that you're best suited for, or simply toss a coin); you and your partner's choice!

Here's a suggestion. Instead of having the maps as pot luck how about specifying them to be the same for each mirror match, that way would be more likely to balance out if one type of map suited a particular army.
So you could have something like:
Game 1 - Med Agricultural.
Game 2 - Med Hilly.
Game 3 - Mid-E Agricultural.
Game 4 - Mid-E Wooded.
Game 5 - Med Agricultural.

Yes, after discussing with your partner, please have one person pm me each team members' choices for round 1 (Macedonia and Greece). Once I have everyone's choice, we start!
