Betatesting
I signed up thinking this would be the computer program testing of the aforementioned games (Ren & Nappy). I can still beta test table top games, but I would not be using miniatures, probably cardboard counters, etc. If you have others interested in the tabletop testing and a space requirement becomes an issue, I'll be more than happy to defer and wait for the computer application of the games to come out.

Probably the best way to ensure that you could add value to the PC game would be to try FoGR using counters - which is really all that the game is - they just have dollies on. It will be valid input and will preprare you for input to the Beta program knowing the original. Besides, I have had to use substitutes as my armies for prior rules just are not quite large enough.
Regards
Tim

I agree and I'm ready to start testing. Let me know when you have a unit roster available, as well as a draft of the rules, and I'll start putting the them through their paces. I am somewhat familiar with the era and will feel very comfortable playtesting this.timmy1 wrote:Rick

Everyone who is in the Beta should have received a set of army lists, rules and QRS at least once by now. I am just a beta tester as well so don't do the distribution. Please check your spam folder as some beta testers found that the rules were in there. If you don't have them there, you should probably contact JD McNeil at Slitherine as he does the distribution. If you don't have the contact details, PM me and I will pass them over.

Betatesting
I'm afraid if it was sent it may have been deleted by my operating system. Unfortunately, I have Comcast which a "Tool" and don't mean that in a good way. Originally, my spam filter was set to delete spam emails after 3 days, I have changed this to 30 days.
If you the beta tester monitor reads this, and you did infact send me the betatester info, please send it again.

bahdahbum (I think I have that correct)
The FoG:R Beta has completed I believe, which may be why the response was slower than expected but you should have had a reply. (Certainly the last general update was issued around November.) Amazon has it slated for September release in the UK and Canada.
Not sure if there will be a FoG:R PC game but were I a betting man I would guess it likely - 13:8on.

I believe that if you enter the Oxford Doubles you will automatically get the opportunity to sign up for the beta. Just tell the organisers that you need to do this.flamingpig0 wrote:Would it be possible to sign up for the Beta Programme- I would like to have a go at the Oxford Doubles!

FOG R at Britcon 2010
Hi There
I have entered for Britcon was going to do FOG AM but I have noticed theres a chance of FOG R playing there.
Is this correct.
If so if your not a Beta tester can you still enter, is so who do you ask for a copy of the rules?

I would think so. JD McNeil is the man with the power. (It was ever thus).david53 wrote:Hi There
