Re: Modern Conflicts 2.00 (RELEASED)
Summary of my thoughts after completing the first Chinese mission: it was worth the wait.
And just like the update that introduced the Middle Eastern theater: having a new musical atmosphere changes the game.
Now that I’ve cleared up my misunderstanding about the RPG units (that’ll teach me to read too quickly); I'm really looking forward to seeing the ATGM infantry units in action. Great initiative, better anti-tank attack than RPG infantry; but almost zero mobility... I'm quite curious about the outcome.

Yeah same misunderstanding here XD
Anyways currently going through the campaing, it's indead great work so far though these Indian light infantry units give me headhaches

The design are overall very well done and this pixel camo is a pleasure for the eyes.

Hello guys,
I am glad you are already enjoying this Update 2.0. There so much more to come!
I already received reports of few glitches and errors. Luckly, non of them is a game breaker or anything. However, they have to be fixed. So tonight I will released 2.05 as a quick fix. Near 640 new units, plus de long campaign and several other improvements...... well, my brain got toasted from time to time (that without counting the real life issues).
Massive thanks to the contributors for the submods: Wurschtmaxe and Arvidus. Also to Estherr for his testing and glitch findings (he is a detective).
Best regards,
Akkula.

I don't know if it was reported to you : the armenian ATGM picture is... huge.
I guess that the size of the image was not adjusted ; I've saw it when I wanted to check the units available in the Europe 2022 scenario.

Re: Modern Conflicts 2.05 (RELEASED)
Excellent! Thanks for this quick work.
On a light note : we have awaited 2.0 for around a year ; and 2.0 is already outdated one day later

So, I'm not the only one to be humiliated by the second scenario?

Re: Modern Conflicts 2.05 (RELEASED)
I'm just not used to playing 21st century warfare with the Cold War equipment of the last century ))))Also a kind of troops like Chinese grenade launcher is not in the army at all but since there are mountains around Indian t-72s are not much better than my Soviet clones T-55 ))))Imeror wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 10:08 pmbondjamesbond wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 10:01 pm Just don't carp ))) I just got my neck broken in the second Chinese mission because I picked up tanks and went to fight on them in the mountains ) So I'll have to re-download reinstall and replay )))).

Haha, yeah, it's a tough one. Tbh, I never got DV there, but I believe Akkula tuned it since early test version... But it's very doable and destroying supply bases can give you some, albeit short, advantage.

Re: Modern Conflicts 2.05 (RELEASED)

Well, you still have to be able to get to the supply bases and other communications of the Indian army. What units of the Chinese army do you use to do this? )
I hope that the Russian localisation will appear soon )

Excellent work Akkula! Having fun with this new campaign. I've found not bringing any transports and rpg infantry really help. Can't wait for more expansions in the Chinese arsenal and more scenarios/campaigns from you and the rest of the Modern Conflicts modding community.

I guess he is talking about what await you next in the chinese campaign. India is just the introduction.
Don't worry, you have not missed a NK campaign

Edit : formulation unclear

And he's good and a really cool player if he got this far on the highest difficulty of the game and without cheats ))))) I'm still practising different tactics of battles in the mountains )))) I can already play the first mission blindfolded )))) The second mission is not so much fun yet, but I'm making progressImeror wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 4:40 pmbondjamesbond wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 3:27 pm Where are the companies and scripts for North Korea to be found I have only China and old companies and scripts for Russia Turkey etc !::?

Don't worry, a NK campaign would have appear in the changelog; you have not missed it![]()

Re: Modern Conflicts 2.05 (RELEASED)
There's no standalone DPRK campaign in 2.0. You WILL fight alongside DPRK troops later in Chinese campaign though. Hope it's not too much of a spoilers =)
