But even if we have several icons for one type - more choice for players is never bad in my opinion...

I'm not having any seaplanes in the work right now. Besides stuff I might add for Inferno (most units are done though) I'll slowly finish the aircraft replacements for 1.20/Allied Corps.

Re: Put your unit requests here please
Hey peeps,
I see there hasn't been much activity in this thread lately, but I thought I'd post a quick request in the hope that someone might consider it.
I used to play a lot of flight sims back in the day (such as Battle of Britain, SWOTL and European Air War) and while the flight physics in those games wasn't the greatest they were a lot of fun. One of my favorite planes to fly was the Bf 110 Zerstorer.
Now before you laugh, in those games it had all the advantages of a heavy fighter (cannons clear the skies so nicely) without the real life disadvantages of slow airspeed and poor turning radius. As a heavy fighter I enjoyed the extra firepower (can you say flying gunship)? and being able to drop the odd bomb was fun as well.
Anyway, my favorite unit was Erprobungsgruppe 210, which fought over the skies of southern England prior to being re-designated Schnellkampfgeschwader 210 and taking part in Operation Barbarossa.
Here's a few pics for reference purposes:

I have modified an existing icon to emulate the Wespe, but as it's my first attempt it's probably not up to speed. Plus I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it here, so better safe then sorry.
That being said, if one of you talented veterans would consider making a polished version, - well let's just say I'd probably have to name my first born after you.
Thanks for reading and cheers,
iceFlame

Re: Put your unit requests here please
Here's me thinking aloud about a couple of British transports it would be nice to see and which no-one has made before: Scammell Pioneer (used to tow the heavy 7.2" howitzer) and the Bedford QLB 4x4 Gun Tractor (used to tow the 40mm Bofors A.A. gun, although the earlier Morris CDSW could also be used for this role). The Bedford QLB gun tractor is a variant of the Bedford QL truck, like the Bedford QLD that is used for the British Lorry graphic in the standard game, so that can serve as a base if anyone fancies giving it a go.
The graphical style should try and fit with the other British tranport units, so ideally plain green and without camouflage pattern. Further down below are the other British transports in the game as a reminder of the graphical style (NOTE: the first three vehicles in the picture - AEC Matador, Bedford QLD and Morris Quad have been re-sized by me to scale with each other.]
Scammell Pioneer:

EDIT: Have almost finished making a Bedford QLB Gun Tractor graphic.
2ND EDIT: I'm also making the Scammell Pioneer.

Here is a passable replica of the Erprobungsgruppe 210 Bf-110C heavy fighter, in PzCorps icon format. Credits to Asuser who designed the Wasp insignia!

Hi Rezaf! Would you mind uploading that icon again? For some reason, I can't see it in your previous post to download it... Thanks!rezaf wrote:I'm just throwing this one out here - I was thinking about adding it to Bebro's excellent Japanese campaign if I ever get around to do another playthrough.
The icon isn't so good, but it's supposed to depict the projected Japanese superheavy tank codenamed Type 100 O-I.

Re: 88mm Flak 41
Bebro: Very well made icon! Thanks for sharing another missing important unit with us!bebro wrote:I made the improved 88er Flak 41 in AA and AT for Inferno. I post it here outside the unit factory because I have no big 3d icon for it, and don't intend to make one. It was just a quick modification combining the 36er model's gun with modified Bofors carriage and Flakvierling shield.
Not entirely accurate, but unless we get a better one maybe someone wants to use it:

Re: Put your unit requests here please
Just wondering if anyone happens to have a mask they can use to make an all black Hummel? I'm looking for something similar to Churchy's black Hetzer, (as seen here):

As far as I can see, he never made a matching Hummel, but I thought something similar would make a very cool (and sinister) looking addition.
Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.

Re: Put your unit requests here please
You are welcome! I am glad you liked them!
Couple of units I made over time and never released
As the title says...most of them quick modifications, all without big 3d UI pic, as always use at will if you want (grab via right-click > save as):
Polish double turret 7TP tank (sometimes labeled "dw" though I read this is not "official")

French Char D2 tank

French Laffly 50 recon (reworked/resized from the one I made for IJA mod)

French Renaul FT-17 tank (reworked/resized from the one I made for IJA mod),

French Laffly truck

SdKfz 10 quick transport mod

Re: Put your unit requests here please
bebro: those are some excellent icons (as always), thanks very much for sharing them. Funny that I started to make a very similar SdKfz 10 light tractor, but somehow gave up halfway. All these icons are very nice and much needed in the PzC equipment list.

One last request McGuba
There should be increased Partisan Resistance when a major offensive is to come play play, in particular, French resistance should be very active around the time D-Day nears, with partisans harassing German defenses on the coast and sabotaging rail way lines

Re: Put your unit requests here please
Has anyboby made an icon of the "21 cm Mrs 18" yet?
I would really like to be able to tell it apart from the 17 cm one at a glance.

You can use this one.
