Division C
oscarius - Jewish Revolt 66-135 AD beats MorkinTheFree - Romano-British 407-599 AD: 47 - 6
A large steep mountain on the right hand side of the map expanded into an epic battle that Morkin's low grade heavy foot was terribly suited for. More difficult terrain across the map limited my foe's capacity to make use of his superior frontage (though both armies were damn huge truth be told).

Division C
oscarius - Spanish (Sertorius) 80-70 BC beat MorkinTheFree - Pontic 110-85 BC: 61 - 52
Very close game that saw a bloody slog between two mixed armies. An early death of Morkin's commander likely tipped things in my scale. Well-played.
(3-1)
oscarius (9) - Spanish (Sertorius) 80-70 BC beat Stew101 (4) – Roman 105 - 25 BC with Armenian 331 BC-252 AD allies 61 - 34
Closer than the scoreline indicates. Another good match

Division B
LuciusSulla (Andalusian with Navarrese) beats paulmcneil (Byzantine) 56-30
Thanks for the game.
More than 50% of my melee troops were also routed by the end of the game. Leaving a huge gap for the Byzantine lancers to chase down my unprotected archers. Though the score system timely called a stop to the game
Well played.

Re: First Time Control check is on Sunday 25th October . . .
The situation is pretty good across the tournament, particularly in the lower divisions. I have concerns though about Late Antiquity Division A and Early Middle Ages Division A and I will need to see some movement very quickly there otherwise I will be making one or two changes. I have sent PM's now and have already received positive replies from some players who have entered those two divisions. Others are yet to respond to me and I will wait until Sunday before making any decisions, so if you are waiting to start a match please be patient until then.

Re: Early Middle Ages: winners post your results here . . .
yeah well played, I made a huge mistake in the early rounds advancing too far forward, unfortunately I need to temper the red mist when I start getting into a good game!LuciusSulla wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 2:36 am Division B
