Phalanxes and elephants created a tough match up for the close warbands and imitation legions. A nice patch of rough on my right held my medium foot nicely to cover that flank.

My cav lost on the left but they just needed to give cover long enough for the melee to play out.

Morat (French/Vikings) beat ggarynorman (Picts/Scots) 60-50.

A tense and close match, where the Picts and Scots comprehensively chewed up the cavalry and the foot on my left: and I was only rescued by some heroic huscarls and lancers in the centre and on my right. Could have gone either way. Thanks to ggarynorman for a hard fought and fun battle.

Warg1 - Arab Conquest 638-684 AD defeats Najanaja - Indian (Rajput) 650-1049 AD 53 - 8

Not a lot the Indians could have done. Had a nice hill to plant the archers and defended them well with the lancers but the Arab army is just too strong...it wasn't really much skill on my part..I just advanced and won the combats. Arabs are a powerful army and the poor Indians are not.
