Captainwaltersavage (Spartan) defeated snooky51 (Greek) 60:45

A real slugfest that could have gone either way. The deciding factor was a Spartan cavalry charge into the rear of the Greek phalanxes that managed to tip the balance just before the Greek cavalry did the same to the Spartans. A very exciting game as phalanxes were disrupted and fragmented and then rallied on both sides. This was a tremendously exciting match thanks to snooky51 for a nail biting finish.

The two sides came at each other. Andalusian archers softened up a few of the Brythonic, along with a few flanks by their spearmen against the stronger targets. The Welsh cavalry was doing great against the Andalusian ones, but by the time they started routing them, the battle was already over; their main line lost too many men.
