Snugglebunnies has won the only match to be reported in Division A while XLegione has made a good start in Division B with 2 wins. Similarly in Division C, MorkinTheFree has opened with 2 wins to top the table. Lots of activity in Division D has seen Aetius39 go to the top of the table with 6 wins from his 8 completed matches. He is being chased by Warg1 who has 3 wins from 4 starts. wmpryor is the early leader in Division E with a win and a draw from 2 starts while Rob123 has the same number of points from 3 matches. A very quick start by Sennacherib (Thracian Getae) has seen him move clear at the top of Division A, but a setback to hidde (Numidian) in his fourth match means that he is still in range of the other players. hidde has started with 2 wins. There have been no results in Division B so far. In Division C there have been winning starts for Najanaja (Hannibal in Italy), oscarius (Sertorius) and Stew101 (Roman) while TomoeGozen (Graeco-Bactrian) is the front runner in Division D with 2 wins from 2 starts. joggy (Roman) has nearly finished his matches in Division E already and so far has harvested 6 wins from 7 starts, only being pegged back in his last match against Kerait (also Roman). Badger73 (Roman) is the fastest out of the blocks in Division F with 2 wins from his 3 starts.

Captain Savage (Visigoths) defeated Tratmot (Armenians) 41-13

The swarm of Visigoth and byzantine allied lancers managed to see off the Armenian armoured archers and cataphracts before the inevitable collapse of the warbands.

The Visigoths have reasonable cavalry but a pretty hopeless infantry line up. I can see why no one else chooses them now. Still its all a learning experience.

Lesson 1 - do not choose the Visigoths again. Unless you are a much better player of course.
