Epriots vs Khwarazmian split 1-1 but the Epirots definitely seem the stronger army.

Khwarazmians(batesmotel) 39/42 - Epirot Byzantines(RussProv) 45/42 - game could have gone either way down to the end.
Epirot Byzantines(batesmotel) 24/43 - Khwarazmians(RussProv) 31/29 - numbers told in this one

Hello there. It is going to be difficult to involve you in the qualifying rounds if you can only play at weekends. I am trying to get the tournament moving along a bit more quickly now as there is still Legions Triumphant and Eternal Empire to do after this. It may be easier for me to involve you in the finals against another relatively new player - I hope to start these late October or early November. I hope that might be of some interest to you.

The Cumans really suffer due to lack of cheap troops so end up being another really small army.

Yes, 500pts. "Fog of war" and double moves on is preferable too. Russ will be in contact soon - he gets through his games quite quickly. Enjoy the tournament, raizer.

in this tourney and in the LOEG I haven't been able to see what the "right" terrain map is called for. Do we use the default "mixed" setting, or can you load it up or play on a pool table?

Although some players might have agreements re terrian, in the naff anything goes, so when yu issue a challenge just select the terrian type that you feel best suits your army/play style. You opponent will do the same. Whomever wins the initiative gets to chose the map that the program selects based off both player t-type selections. I dont think I have ever seen a pool table map though some are pretty close:)
