Asterix fails!

The gallic migration into the lands of the pantherites ended at the first hurdle:-

Gauls 50/44 38560/17669

Pantherites 27/70 56500/9960

"Of all the battle joints, in all the towns, in all the world, I had to walk into his" said Asterix

Asterix most have forgotten to bring Obelisk's Druidic drafts or the Druid himself along.

We have decided we find the climate in Crimea is bad for our royal complexion so we will be going home to the dry air of our desert abode.

The forces of Freedom move on in their campaign to liberate the Rhodian people, crushed under the iron heel of their fascist oppressors.....

Highland & Isles Army (davouthojo)
Casualties 14,906/75,000
BP 24/55

Low Countries Army (ianiow)
Casualties 26,827/67,500
BP 59/52

Will they continue to battle the forces of the free, or let their province taste the heady wine of liberty?

Defender:hidde(Free Company)

I think this havn't been reported so I'll do it albeit with a heavy heart.
I also declare that I'll withdraw to the city. Lets see how a siege plays out.
Distress call goes out to all allied forces.
No, just checked the rules. May only call one ally for help. That must be rbodleyscott I suspect as only he have a SoA army listed.
But he is not adjacent...confusion sets in again :?

Send me a PM if the gods allow me to assist. (I am not very good at consistently reading this thread as I only have one battle in progress at present).

If RBS isn't able, I'll be your huckleberry. I'm technically adjacent to you.

I think ony an ally you had at the BEGINNING of the turn can come to relieve a siege.....
If you are not adjacent then I think the ally needs to get permision to move thru any territories and needs to PM Peter so he can confirm... at least this is what he relayed to me when i was going to do that once...

There appears to be a route to your territory through Phanagoria and Utopia, both of which are my allies.

Any problem with my relief army passing through your territories to help Canaan guys?

Assuming not, how do I proceed?

RBS has free access through Utopia to reinforce the belaugered Canines. Barring that, I can send you help.

I think you can just issue a challenge to the Covenanters and then duke it out as normal since you now have a route to get to Canaan.

The Lost World isn't all about war and backstabbing! Nations from all around willing to give a helping hand...allmost makes me bleary-eyed 8)
Deeter, I appreciate your offer but me and deadtorius are using SoA armies so I belive the relief force has to be one too.
iversonjm, mercenary for hire, are you?:P
A bit funny because I was just about to announce a call to arms against the all-conquering menace that is the wicked alliance between Crimea and Empire of the Panther.
As a beacon of light in times of tyranny and oppression Canaan armies will march against the evil duo  . All nations that holds freedom and independence dear should join!
I have an agreement with Rome for free passage to Pantherland if anyone wonder.
I'll try to get the challenges up and pm password later tonight. No later than tomorrow I promise.

Nope, an RoR army can fight an SoA army providing that both sides agree to this (I can't see many SoA armies refusing to fight RoR armies - they should, on average, be better).
