I am working on the Turkiye addition to the grand scenario. So far, this would be the mechanics of it:
1- The trigger to "activate" Turkiye should be available after 10 turns (or so) since the start of the game.
2- The condition will be: if any player place a unit adjacent to the Turkiye neutral hexes, then it will trigger a roll dice.
3- Roll dice shall be 50%/50% chance for Turkiye to join NATO or Russia, this is to avoid any preset condition and abusing. So, basically: you want Turkiye to join the war?, good, but at your own risk

4- Turkiye will not deploy 100% of its military. So, depending whos side she is taking, the available units will vary. Siding with Russia means deployment of units near Istambul, Ankara and the west coast; siding with NATO will deploy units along the Syrian and Armenian borders.
5- Siding with NATO: this will trigger the Syrian entrance into the war, along with the YPG. So don't think that you will enjoy more free units to wage war against Russia

The idea is not to create a "win button" for either side, I just want to add new challenges. You want to trigger Turkiye into the battle?, good, but that's doesnt mean more free units: the roll dice could play against you or you will just open a new front.
Testing will take time, but progress are being made.
Best regards,
Akkula.
