I think this is the first time I've managed to actually surround an enemy with Seleucids before closing for the kill. Maybe there are other tactics than bulldozing through the middle of them! Who'd have thought!

Just to be absolutely clear, the advantage for you in using this procedure (apart from saving a lot of time and effort) is that you will get your match adjudicated after 14 days rather than having to wait until 31/12.

Yes, the Gepids and Hepthalite Huns were both available in Classical Antiquity this season. The DAG gives the latest date for the Gepids as AD567 and for the Hepthalite Huns it is AD550 - so the bulk of their respective timespans falls in the earlier period rather than Early Middle Ages (AD500-AD1000).
