Arranging MP Game....Interested ?

Okay fellow combatants we start tomorrow.

As soon as our Rome player signs (Tripoli) in which he is doing tomorrow to ensure the game starts as planned on the 18th I will launch it.

We have the Saka player who has not responded to requests to sign in or follow up messages who may have dropped so I have invited a reserve (Juanval) to join. If he has done so by the time Jason logs into the game then it will launch automatically. If not then I will launch the game manually and we can get going.

Now to see all plans crumble like dust .............

No problem.

All you need to do if that pops up is to tab down and click on to the "ignore" part of the error message and you can then log into the lobby and game fine.

From what I've seen, it would be hard to be more aggressive than the AI.........

I ordered the game. Should be here soon. I've watched the tutorials. I've read the game reports on Lohr's multi player game. I've watched the utube challenges as to Rome and Carthage. Looks like a good game. Plenty of game without the add on of fighting the battle in Field of Glory II.

Update for all players in the big MP game that this thread relates to:

Tripoli the final player will be logging in and the game will launch at around 1500 hours CST which is 2100 hours British Summer Time or 2200 hours European time.

If you register the game on Steam it is done automatically....saves all the grief with installers.

Without your suggestion I wouldn't have solved the problem 'cause my antivirus didn't let me run the update, ignoring any exception I tried to determine.

Several trade agreements agreed and a landmark Peace Treaty is agreed between Egypt and the Antigonids granting delayed concessions of Palestine Province and Jerusalem to Judea who will be allowed an uncontested takeover of these areas in 290BCE .....

As another turn progresses it is apparent that Maurya is stirring.....at present their (soon to expire) peace agreement with the Seleucids ensures peace between Maurya on the Eastern border of the Seleucid Empire and both the Seleucid's and their restless client state Bactria which borders Maurya, to the North and joins up with the extreme North East of the sprawling Seleucid Empire.


This turn saw public pronouncements by Maurya supporting Bactrian independence and reassurance from Antigonus that the Antigonids would not seek to exploit any difficulties the Seleucids found themselves in as a result......

The reliability of such assurances and the attitude of the Bactrian leadership towards such support from Maurya and it's powerful military at this stage remains unknown. Decisions of both could prove decisive for the integrity of the whole Seleucid Empire......
