My congratulations to Hannibal for his comprehensive victory.......next time we will get our revenge.......

Alexander nominates Ptolemaic for the first battle vs Caesar.

Can my team post on our forum if they would like to change teams...we need to redeem our honour!

The result is academic now.....ian and my battle is still a grind....it has highlighted in a push of pike how much difference it makes whether you control the order of combat or your enemy......I pull back in my turns, but dread ian's turns. Currently 36/58 to 32/60.

49/58 to 34/60 now. Things are getting desperate as we both are running out of pikemen. The thracian and galatian reserves are in action on both sides now though no one has resorted to using the cretans yet hehe.

Match 1 (Very Open): Ptolemaic (Greek) Davouthojo ( 60/58 ) vs Ptolemaic (Greek) IanIOW ( 48/60 )

I'd like to say I won by great generalship and inspired manuevering but I think it just hinged on the fact that I won the skirmish encounter with some sneaky entrapments and hung on to this small lead until the end of the battle. Thanks for the game DH. GO HANNIBAL! :D
