It's been a few turns since my last update, but there hasn't been too much to report. I successfully completed my flanking maneuver through the mountains north of Nice and captured the city. Italy will surrender soon; Turin may be the third and final city I need. The Soviets and Allies are pretty well stopped at their respective fotress lines until good weather arrives. We make some final upgrades and continue to ready ourselves for the final assault.

Fair weather has finally arrived in Europe, and the western Allies take advantage. Turin is captured and Italy surrenders as a result. I landed a small contingent in southern Italy a few turns ago, and these troops are now perfectly positioned to quickly grab the cities down there. I don't think Frank can spare the troops needed to garrison them. This is because the Allies also launched their main assault through Holland, destroying a corps and a tank and cutting Hague off from the rest of Europe. The Soviets continue to push steadily through the rough terrain and forts. At this point, it looks like the British and Americans will reach Berlin first, though I do not know if it will be before July. Ultimate victory is my goal, but if it doesn't happen, I won't be too dissapointed with strategic victory. :)

Germany surrenders, resulting in an Ultimate Allied victory by a slim margin. The Russians got Berlin and the Americans got Hamburg. Below is the final casualty screen. I would like to thank my opponent for playing this game out until the end. The final result was in question until a few turns ago. In this case, there is honor in defeat.
