Re: Biblical: winners post your results here . . .
Weekly round-up
Still very quiet in Division A where herm (Lydian) opened up with a win and harveylh (Thracian) moved to the top with his second win. batesmotel (Achaemenid) is the new leader in Division B with 3 wins from 3 starts, but he is sure to face a strong challenger from the KO Tournament winner Macedonczyk (Assyrian) who has started with 2 wins. edb1815 (Egyptian), paulmcneil (Skythian) and sunnyboy (Syracusan) all remain unbeaten in what should be a very exciting division. In Division C baldrick52 (Kyrenean) has established a huge lead of 18 points over MikeMarchant (Greek Asiatic) and sarmation (Phokian) and has only one match left to play against the veteran SpeedyCM (Median). A victory in that match would make it very hard for anyone to catch him but a defeat would open the contest up to the chasing group.
Unbeaten runs of 3 matches or more
batesmotel (Division B) 3 matches
baldrick52 (Division C) 8 matches
sarmation (Division C) 3 matches
Match completion rate (45 matches in total to be played in each division)
Division A - 8 out of 45 matches completed
Division B - 17 out of 45 matches completed
Division C - 16 out of 45 matches completed
Division A is a bit slow, but otherwise these are very good match completion rates.
Player of the week
sarmation (Division C) with 2 wins and a draw against the runaway leader baldrick52 this week.

Division F
Blagrot (Samnite 355-272 BC with Italian Hill Tribe allies) beat Tratmot – Carthaginian, Hannibal in Africa 202 BC 52%-26%
The veteran carthaginians couldn't break the samnites fast enough to stop them lapping around through the weaker units and launching mass flank charges, thanks for the game

Division F
gioe07 - Byzantine 493-550 AD beats random 27- Slav 500-599 AD with Germanic/Gothic Foot Tribes 260-599 AD allies Result : 66-52
I post the result , despite i m the loser , i think my opponent didn't post
One of the biggest come back in my short experience in this game
There was a hill in the center on the left and an other one in my side
I took the hill on left with my lights and irregulars , i defend the other one with german troops
I was leading 17% and then a unique cavalry charge took several units in one turn and gioe07 was then in good position , i try to win the game , but maybe i should have played for the draw
Well played , gioe07 , a good match
I m happy because i don t think now slavs was a good choice of army and my games are always closed

Division C
cromlechi - Ptolemaic 166-56 BC defeats General Shapur - Seleucid 166-125 BC 61 -46
An interesting game that went to the last turn. My opponent took up a defensive position behind a stream which meant I had to go around his front line to cross. My elephants had some initial success breaking up his pike formations which had gone into a defensive square. Things seemed to be going smoothly until I got over stretched and isolated units started getting picked off. I eventually managed to reform and just scraped past the post on the final turn. Good game but nail biting especially as this is only my second win in this division after 6 games.

After a bit of manoeuvring the armies clashed and I managed to get a few advantages early on. Good luck for your coming games!

Division D
SawyerK (Pyrrhic) defeated Bluefin (Syracusan) by 68 to 51.
The match was even until the late segment of the game when the Syracusans developed a better battle position. But several attacks by the Syracusans on supposed flanks of boxed pike units weakened the former and allowed the pikes to come out of their boxes and attack. The game was won when multiple Syracusan units broke on the second to last move.

Division E
Aetius39 - Frankish 751-887 AD with Saxon, Continental 600-804 AD allies beat Stormcrow - Viking 900-1049 AD 41-15
Most of the vikings were on a hill, and were happy to stay there. As the skirmishers clashed, the Franks slowly moved up, but first focused the attack only on the small section where Viking units weren't on a hill. After a small break in their lines, his men moved down on my left and made big gains into that side, but the damage was too great to their left, and eventually most routed on that side before mine could suffer worse. Good game and good luck in your other matches.

Division A
Schweetness101 - Andalusian 756-1049 AD defeats Sennacherib - Arab Conquest 638-684 AD 61:46
opening moves here:
https://i.imgur.com/auL42zM.jpg
that wide left flank with tons of cav didn't really work as it was rebuffed by the Arab veteran spears, light lancers, massed archers and muslim lancers held back in echelon on their right, so I swept all the way back around to the middle with the cavalry, behind my own line. to assist my infantry receiving charges from the superior Arab spears and dailami. I then abandoned the right flank and moved the cav and what infantry I could over to the left to try and get to 60 before the mediums, lights, and massed archers of the arab left could join the battle. Things kind of devolved into a chaotic mess after that, and ended up like this:

was a very close game, GG to Sennacherib
