SimonLancaster (Spartan 221 BC + Roman) defeated rockmanbob123 (Selecuid 124 BC) 68-35.
Hardest game of the tournament so far. The Superior Warband and Veteran Pike units were tough to overrun. Both sides lost their flank but I managed to grab the win.

Division B
devoncop (Order of St John 1450-1500) beat Indibil (Polish 1386-1454 with Hungarian Allies)... 62-51
Tournament points :
devoncop: 60+9 = 69
Indibil : 51
A barely believable result.
In a staggering display of incompetence the Order of St John Commander distracted by his morning devotions to his elite Knight units in the rear of the Order battle line saw his front line on the left and centre totally overrun before the Knights were ordered to frantically move forward narrowly escaping a catastrophic early loss.
The heroic resistance of some Order archer and crossbow units on the right and a single unit of archers that had found some sanctuary from the rampaging Police Cavalry in the centre allowed the finally activated Order Knights reserve to charge into the Polish cavalry in the centre and on the Order left flank sweeping them from the field and grabbing a highly improbable result.
Commiserations to my very unlucky opponent.

Division A
Kroche Ancient British 60BC-80AD w Roman 24BC 24% loss
defeats
Ironclad Roman 379-424 AD and Hunnic (Western) 250 50% loss
Later Romans threatened a breakthrough on the British right as main infantry forces met in centre and left. Later Roman cavalry were all against the British right and a cataphract unit broke through, but could not quite get back in time to change the outcome. British chariots were on both flanks and helped to weaken the Later Romans attacking their left flank. Some good melees in the centre saw the Legionaries and British warbands hold against their opposite numbers. Battle ended at a good time for me as Later Romans still held a decent line and and had not lost either wing at the end. GG

Division B
Solemnace Scots (Isles and Highlands) 1320-1493 AD defeats rockmanbob123 French 1484-1500 73-58
The Scots were largely able to rout the French Cavalry on the Scottish Left flank without too much difficulty with only one unit that was fragmented and pinned against the right board edge being all that's left. The French Longbowman were caught by the Scots and routed as well though their light crossbowmen survived though there was some trouble in defeating them as they were supported more ably by the rest of the French Army. The French Left Flank cavalry proved more troublesome with one unit surviving the battle having defeated several Scottish Spearmen units to survive and other formations getting involved in the massive melee in the centre. The French Swiss Keil Pikeman in the centre proved the most troublesome despite being surrounded for most of the later half of the battle. At one point one of them was disrupted and the other fragmented only for both to rally back to steady. Alas for French hopes of an unexpected victory a successful rear charge upon one of the Keils fragmented it and the Scots were able to throw enough bodies upon it to force it to break at last giving the Scots victory at a grievous cost in men. French casualties were barely higher than Scottish ones despite the French suffering many desertions and surrenders.
Basically a quantity army faced a quality army and quantity won at a very high price. Though the quality army is left with only three intact units and one about to break.
