Re: Le Roi Soleil - Challenges
I found this to describe our battle to date youngr - hiding in an old Nursery Rhyme (Adapted from an old English Nursery Rhyme circa 1700's)
Up hill and down dale*;
An Imperial is hid in every vale**;
Ov'er the hill searching comes Notger Amstutz
Even tho a German Cous
Both shall have a hiding,
And make retreat anon*,
Author's note: Amstutz = Topographic name for someone living near or at the foot of a steep mountainside, German am Stutz ‘at the escarpment’.= German Swiss

Mr Doge, please take the challenge that says its for lascar on it, password: roundtwo
I just also just realized that ogieboogie is one of Rex's multiple personalities, which means "they" still don't have a computer to play on.... Any Idea on that or just proceed with what we have for opponents?
Cheers!

on line campaign in the old spirit of club campaigns for English Civil War check out the new thread... starts end of May if there's interest
Minimal commitment... easy joining and opting out, designed to fit into unobtrusively into other online and yes real life commitments, no mandatory moves or fights, and no timeline deadlines... but another dimension to on line battles! Sign up now, make sure you note preference for King or Parliament, preferences for a district eg: whether the North, the west country, the centre, or the East

Re: Le Roi Soleil - Challenges
Awesum...I tried walking around my chair 3 times in a clockwise direction, throwing salt over my right shoulder using my left hand, touching my head while saying out loud "touch wood" and kicking my cat (was meant to be part of the ritual but didn't released frustration...just ended up with claw marks and poisoned cuts! Note to self need to get a dog)
so what exactly is the bloody password?
(all this was also written in a very stern teacherly way with my glasses perched on the end of my nose)

Gavin,
password is moscow I said it in my last message before your army collapsed. But I guess you understandably didn't want to relieve the horrors of that terrible day...
See you soon,
Andre

No not so... it is etched into the annals of my mind as the day Andre was at the top of his game and therefore it can only get better. ! It's just that the blood running down my forehead must have clouded my sight

Re: Le Roi Soleil - Challenges
Sorry, that fact slipped my mind... but It won't matter to much because we're after the order within your box TGM just play the opponents in your box and Rex will have to seed as no. 4I just also just realized that ogieboogie is one of Rex's multiple personalities, which means "they" still don't have a computer to play on.... Any Idea on that or just proceed with what we have for opponents?
