In that case I get a lie in....viking123 wrote:The competition details says check-in is between 8:30 and 9:15 am with first game starting at 9:30 am on Saturday.
On Sunday first game is at 9:00 am.
I aim to get there by 8:20 am to get closer parking.

Re: Warfare 2015 14/15 November 2015
Thank goodness for that, the only one who should see Nigel's draws is Mrs Emsen!
Re: Warfare 2015 14/15 November 2015
Top weekend, drew one, lost massively, won two.
Thank you to Tim for organising, my four opponents (Brendan, Lynette, Marc and Nigel, four great games) and everyone who dealt with my improving, but holey, knowledge of the rules.
Joint 13, and beat and ahead of Nigel, woot!

Thank you to Tim and the team... Great weekend, four very enjoyable games. Three losses and one win. Good to see a junior joining the flock. I thought she did very well for her first competition, not only on score but also on her grasp of the game.

Any chance of the final positions and scores please?

Re: Warfare 2015 14/15 November 2015
Yes I was wondering about that as well as I had to go as soon as I'd packed up.
Re: Warfare 2015 14/15 November 2015
Whilst I would love to see the final results I know that my final position was in the bottom half if not the bottom quarter.
I would like to thank my five opponents - Dave, Don, Brendan, Paul and my dice. All the games were close even if the scores did not show it.

Bob,
I certainly recall the "perfect storm" turn you had in my game, where even my dice turned on you!

I once played David Cutner at FoG - because he had forgotten his dice we were sharing a set - oh how my dice turned against me! - could I role better than a three? Could David, USING THE SAME DICE, role less than a FIVE?

Thanks, Tim - and for the last-minute opportunity to take part.
Can someone just quickly explain where the scores in the "Opponents" columns come from? They certainly don't match my opponents' scores in my games (nor my scores in theirs).
Yours curiously,
Bemused of South Surrey

It will be your opponents's player number, and since there were 24 of us, it will look like random scores!

So, the winner played and beat the players in 3rd, 4th and 5th.TimChild wrote:Hi all,

That is indeed correct, and if it is coloured red, that means that player finished 1st-3rd, blue for the next few in the chasing pack.madlemmey wrote:It will be your opponents's player number, and since there were 24 of us, it will look like random scores!
All very scientific!
