Just looked at the list I can see why caussian states are thought an option..
Armoured p/p horse with options to bring horse archers for those LOA un armoured mounted, plenty of skirmishers, but no artillery to punch through with...

Well still not decided on an army. Had a good practice against Hunter last night with a possible contender and got a good result although the terrain and Hunter's die rolls helped. At the end of the day however I did not feel that comfortable with the playability of the army and will probably look elsewhere in my army collection. Koruc Rebellion perhaps !!

Hopefully you will soon see poofs of smoke rising from the respective camps. In any case Alasdair and I have come up with a new fool proof scheme in that we are going to join our two armies together in every round on the one table to fight our opponent. Aye, Nigel, time to go and slit the wrists in the traditional Roman style or in your case a quick dose of the Harry Canaries. Bags to keep the head.

Nigel, I fear for your state of readiness if you have not yet sharpened your spears. That just leaves the famous Monty Python pointy sticks which do not have that great a record against the Horse Meister. By the way if Alasdair picks an army without Cuirassiers and artillery then I for one will demand DNA swabbing and finger printing to prove that it is not just Hunter wearing a mask and standing on a stool.

"Poofs of smoke?" I think you've been smoking something! If you and the MOH would just concentrate on fixing your lists and joining the Corinthian 2 we'd all be a lot better offmarshalney2000 wrote:Nigel, I fear for your state of readiness if you have not yet sharpened your spears. The Bruce had been sharpening his spears for a whole Summer.
The Bruce also did not disclose the content of his army to his opponent too early either.

After game 1 everyone's done the rounds so does it really matter
My list choice has only two. Options anyway... Lots of spears and min cav or a few more spears and a little bit of cav , canna can't give it that secret ...
Once lists are all , why keep it so secret.. Is that one bg tweak really going to make that much difference?
I suppose it's down to that same old approach, fun or competative

Hunter for your own safety do not admit to being Edward the Second. For goodness sake you might have Piers Galveston and his crowd round your place for a nice friendly visit. Also please avoid red hot pokers as these can be dangerous to your health.
As for my army when I have decided I will rest assured send it on for checking. During my holiday next week, I will contemplate further with the spirits. All being well you will face the Munro Uber Army at our next practice game a week Thursday.
