v1.0 is finished:

Image

- 6 historical + 3 'what if' scenarios added, concluding the Hungarian campaign in April 1945
- "prequel" added: vanilla tutorial campaign is converted to a nation specific one (thus now there are two campaigns in the mod!)
- many new and modified units added, including some prototypes, finally filling the last gaps in the Hungarian equipment
- winter-wash camo schemes are added to vehicles in all-winter scenarios (following bebro's original idea)
- conversion of the UI (User Interface) is finished
- new intro movie added

Download link and more info is in the first page of this topic.

Congratulations!!!
You really did every 'transformation' - even the scenarios are changed from the vanilla to the HC. Didn't played yet the 44-45 scenarios but the opportunity to changing sides was also a nice idea. :)

Thanks,

With the summer arriving early to my country this year, and with the v.1.0 version finished, I will take a break from modding for a while. Later I may or may not create and release some more material for this game.

McGuba,

Thanks a lot for this campaign, I've been following it for a while now. Probably played through 0.4 like 3 times already :) I have a little problem though, when I finish 42/43 scenario and 44 Kolomea should start the game just freezes. It also happens when I try to start 1944/45 from the campaign selection screen. Game just stops or a black screen gets loaded. Samething for a number of scenarios. Any thoughts on that? I have the gsme and only select hunmod 1.0

Szép munka honfitárs, köszönöm szépen! :)

Sorry my friend, but I have no clue. I wonder if anybody else have the same problem?

A couple of questions came into my mind, though:

Have you updated PzC to v.1.3 or 1.4?
What other scenarios do you have a problem with?
Do you have at least 2 Gb of RAM? This mod may put PzC to its limits, so 2 Gig is recommended, with no other programs running in the background.

It could be a memory issue, thus you could try running the game with the /nocache switch.

I would also suggest making a new clean install of PzC and then install this mod to get rid of any possible fragments from a previously activated mod.

Other than that, I really do not know.

This happens due to the campaign file. Missing map.

That has been my experience.

Go to your down load file. find the campaign file. Copy and paste that into the Hungarian Mod folder/data where campaign file is located.

Try that.

Make sure you remove the Mod first with the GME. Just click on the left arrow.

After you repair the file, load up GME and click on th eMod again.

First welcome back to the Forums Flak. :)

I tried both download links and the sendspace one is working for me albeit with quite slow download rates (around 75 Kb/s). Tho if my memory serves me right Sendspace is knows to block certain countries from downloading from it. Maybe you are unlucky to be from one of them.

The second link starts download but my virus scanner claims the file is infected by a virus and blocks the download. Considering it's an executable file there compared to a zip file on sendspace i went into paranoia mode and didn't try to download it even if its possibly just a false positive.

Edit: After further examination the second link definitively looks fishy. The file is called HunModv10.zip.exe and is around 250 KByte big instead of being called HunModv10.zip with a size of around 288 Mbyte. I would strongly advice to not use it for the time being until someone checked it out.

Filefactory uses a 'download manager', which first gives you the little .exe file you are warned about. To directly get the .zip you want, just scroll down in the waiting screen and deselect/unselect the option to use their download manager. This will give you the correct file. Unfortenately I haven't been able to play the mod yet, not enough time...

Even if i deselect the check box i still get the .exe offered. Tho this may be possibly a problem of the website not playing along with my browser. I use Opera which is not one of the mainstream browsers used so some websites tend to have a problem with it here and there.

I sadly did not get the time to play the mod as well. So many games to play, so little time left to spend on it. At the moment most of my free time goes into beta testing Allied Corps but i will give the mod a go when i find some more time spare.

I have added an additional dl link, this time rapidshare, which seems to work again.

It is hard to find reliable free storage space these days, that is available for all countries, especially for such large files. These free storage space providers want to make a living as well, thus in some cases, they try to give some unwanted malware to the unsuspecting user, which is not very nice. As a general rule, you should never download anything, that you do not need.

I suspect that FileFactory's download manager contains some adware or something like that and thus it should not be used. Just download the large file without using it, as ThvN suggested.

I went to a higher Horse Power computer and got everything done. Thank you all for your help, as always. Friendly modders are a blessing. :D I've wanted to get the chance with this mod since it was announced. This mod is so professionally done..............just great. I am always amazed at the guys who can make something so polished and put so much attention to the smallest details.

A new version is available for download on the first page of this topic.

New features in v.1.1:

- compatibility with PanzerCorps v1.20 (or later)
- more capturable units added
- more historical heroes added
- various changes and fixes

This mod replaces the stock German campaign of Panzer Corps. To start it from the Allied Corps interface, first you have to switch to the Hungarian Campaign, as you would switch to the German one, as seen here:

Then you should get this:
