Weekly round-up
There are still 4 players with unbeaten records in Division A in what is shaping up to be a very exciting contest. Nosy_Rat (Roman) increased his winning sequence to 4 games with a thumping win over dkalenda (Achaemenid Persian) and he has harveylh (Roman) and Geffalrus (Macedonian) in hot pursuit. rbodleyscott (Carthaginian) has also won his opening match. Schweetness101 (Carthaginian) narrowly won the top of the table clash with desertedfox (Greek), but desertedfox still has a 5 point lead over second-placed IMC (Samnite) after winning his fourth match. Schweetness101 is a point further back and the automatic promotion place looks to be between these 3 players. in Division C, GDod (Indo-Greek) has made it a very impressive 6 straight wins to put himself in with a great chance of automatic promotion. Ulysisgrunt (Antigonid) is second with 5 wins from 7 matches and it is possible that cromlechi (Egyptian) will make a late challenge after winning his opening match against third-placed General Shapur (Jewish). Division D is still rattling along at brake neck speed and it increasingly looks like Macedonczyk (indo-Greek), who has started with 4 straight wins, will be the only player able to challenge Swuul (Roman) who has finished his matches with 27 points. One issue has been decided already in this division though with General Kostas (Carthaginian) securing the wooden spoon for the second season in a row after losing a closely fought match against Spacemonkey76 (Gallic).

Division A is virtually comatose at the moment, but dkalenda (Kingdom of Soissons) has secured a third straight win to lead the table ahead of Snugglebunnies (Byzantine). Three results were posted from Division B this week and they were all drawn matches! Cunningcairn (Roman) still leads but this division is wide open at this stage with only IMC (Moorish) ruled out of contention. In Division C ConstantinIX (Roman) has extended his unbeaten run to 7 matches and now has a 12 point lead. It is unlikely that anyone can prevent him from taking the automatic promotion place now but General Shapur (Sassanid) and phoyle3290 (Lombard) still have a chance to cause an upset. vvanttin (German Horse Tribes) also has a 12 point lead in Division D after posting his fifth successive win this week. Macedonczyk (Jewish Revolt) is second with 2 straight wins and ggarynorman (Palmyran) also has 2 wins from 3 starts.

harveylh (Andalusian) has joined defending champion Nosy_Rat at the top of Division A this week. Both have 3 straight wins. Geffalrus (Rajput) has also made a winning start. In Division B, Cunningcairn (Frankish) has posted his fifth straight win to take a 7 point lead over second-placed Nijis (Spanish). Both paulmcneil (Viking) and Schweetness101 (Andalusian) have opened their campaigns with a win. pompeytheflatulent has strengthened his position at the top of Division C this week with 2 more wins to extend his winning sequence to 5 matches. cromlechi (Welsh) and lunecastle (Anglo-Saxon) seem the most likely now to put in a challenge for automatic promotion. Furious activity in Division D has seen Swuul (Dailami) go to the top of the table after completing his matches, but this is likely to be a short-lived stay as there is a queue of players waiting to overtake him. Macedonczyk (Arab Conquest) is one point behind having won all of his 5 matches so far alongside Doyley50 (Anglo-Danish) who has 5 wins from 7 matches. At the bottom of the table telesien (Abbasid) and Brenmusik (Welsh) are yet to win any points and it looks inevitable that one of them will get the wooden spoon this season.
