Author, why is the T-72A tank more expensive than the T-72 M and on a par with the T-72 M1 tank ?
Yeah, it is a mistake. McGuba also pointed me that one.
It has been fixed in 1.7, don't worry. 8)

Also , the Syrian company is suddenly interrupted and I was advised to enter a cheat to win because there is a bug , although I already won with decisive victories ?

Wow!!! Very impressive :!:
I've missed so much but will definitely try this mod.

In the meantime, there are a few questions.
1. When is the new version 1.7 planned to be released?
2. Is there a link to the historical number of units in the Grand scenario Europe 21?
Are there any resources used for this, such as "The Military Balance 2021"?
3. Are there or are planning separate balanced versions for MP scenarios?
Because in single scenarios, it is customary to give AI big bonuses.

Hi Intenso82!
Intenso82 wrote: Sat Oct 30, 2021 12:50 pm 1. When is the new version 1.7 planned to be released?
Today or tomorrow.
I would prefer to have more time to work on it, but I am being temporally relocated (work) so I will be away from the desktop PC and for sure I will have less free time for the months to come. So my idea is to give you guys one last update for the time being. Main features:
- Gulf War 2003 scenario
- A LOT of new units
- Electronic warfare and AWACS rework.
- and the mandatory icons reworks/improvements, equipment file balance/fixes and Syrian Campaign bugs correction.
But I will continue my work on the mod sometime next year, THAT'S FOR SURE. I have a LOT of ideas for it 8)

Sort of Yes.
I was not aware of "The Military Balance 2021" but I did a research of manpower and equipment for all the countries included in the scenario.
Overall, the proportions are pretty realistic. But, of course, I had to tweak (a little) some numbers here and there in order to compensate the game engine limitations and gameplay balance.
But I am planning to keep improving this aspect of the scenario.
Intenso82 wrote: Sat Oct 30, 2021 12:50 pm 3. Are there or are planning separate balanced versions for MP scenarios?
Well, the scenario should be compatible with single and multiplayer modes as it is now.
Judging by the comments in these last months, it seems is not too easy to win the against the AI, so I imagine I walking the right road so far.
Of course I don't have any feedback about multiplayer, but if take a look at the units deployment, I think they are pretty balanced for a PvP.

Best regards,
Akkula.

Greetings Hans
Those are sad news :(
DMP was a huge and beautiful community, personally it helped me a lot to advertise my mods.
I wish the best to their managers.

In the meanwhile, I hope you enjoy this update.

Best regards,
Horacio.

It is not removed. The Archer is still part of the Swedish roster.
But from your screenshot I can confirm that you are using a very old version of the mod, maybe an older version in which the Archer was not included yet.
I suggest you to use a clean game installation and then apply 1.7 again to be sure.
Let me know if that works.

Akkula.

Hi Akkula ) It's time to put the oldest AN-2 and MiG-19 aircraft back into service, but as combat drones

The scenarios for world war 3 seem to be broken because of 3 unseen Dutch ships in North Sea:

Those are named De Ruyter, Evertsen and Tromp. If I play NATO the game crashes when I move any of them, if I play Russia the game crashes at 11th turn when one of them engages fight.

Fixed it. In Graphics\Units created two copies of "Fridtjof Nansen-Class.png" as "DeZevenProvinciën-class_ranged.png" and "DeZevenProvinciën-class_ASW.png", respectively. Now it seems to be OK, the game doesn't crash anymore.

Hi,

I installed the mod and played the Gulf war scenarios vs AI.
I also started the NATO campaign (scenario 7 is quite hard (entering Crimea) even at easy difficulty level, I just missed one VH at the very last turn). I shall retry.

Just one question about the Europe scenario vs AI (NATO vs Russia) : why is Turkey not taken into account since the country is well part of NATO ? Because Turkey is not part of Europe and this is a Europe-based scenario ? Strange because you have well UK units in the Caucasus...

This is really enjoyable.
Thx for such a hard work!

NB: do you plan to integrate China, Vietnam, South Korea, North Korea, Japan in a "Modern war in Asia" ?

Hello all,
Sorry for the late replies. Since almost a couple of months I have moved to another country (temporally for the time being) so my modding hobby shall be in the freezer for the months to come :(
mahno wrote: Thu Dec 16, 2021 6:47 pm Fixed it. In Graphics\Units created two copies of "Fridtjof Nansen-Class.png" as "DeZevenProvinciën-class_ranged.png" and "DeZevenProvinciën-class_ASW.png", respectively. Now it seems to be OK, the game doesn't crash anymore.
Strange. I checked and the mod works perfectly. Did you try with a "clean/fresh" game installation?
I can play the scenario without any crashes at all :?

I didn't add Turkey for two main reasons:
- Time. I should have to create a lot of new units icons and that for sure it would have delayed any other progress with the mod.
- Geopolitics. Although it is a major NATO member, Turkey also has reasonable good relationships with Russia. So I think in a potential global conflict, they would play neutral "pro-NATO" but without any direct engagement with the Russians.
Anyway, the main reason is the first point: time. But I hope to revisit this matter soon and try to add Turkey to the mod :D

Hi Akkula,

Thx for Turkish units in the future. But I fully understand your reasons.
My mistake it was Georgia and not UK. The flag sometimes look similar for units in game.
