I must be doing something wrong but I cannot see what it is - so here is a 1 minute YouTube showing what I am doing - https://youtu.be/uFDDUkozwdo
Could someone look at my 1 minute YT showing how I tried to export Germany West 1939-40 and import into Germany West 1941-43 and never got an Import Core prompt

https://youtu.be/uFDDUkozwdo

Many thanks - I know it's a small issue but being a bit OCD - I would like to get it right :-)

In the video you're exporting Germany East 41-42 and then you start the Yugoslavia Issue which is the first Germany West 41-43 scenario. You should have an export core from Germany West 39-40, then you get a prompt to import when starting West 41-43. Hope I'm right.
Thanks for the suggestion - that worked - you were correct - thanks again

Matthew

The "Capture a Char tank near Dijon" secondary objective for the Dijon mission in Germany 1939-40 is still not triggering. Am I supposed to force it to retreat onto the city tile first or is this just an error?

With Erik's scens usually capture = destroy.

Yeah, in the past it worked fine so I'm guessing it's just a new bug but there's always the chance something was changed.

Agree, I had the same issue. The Char B1bis was destroyed but it didn't appear as new unit.

Sorry to bother you again, but now the Taranto scenario seems double bugged:

1. Even having controlled 5/4 objectives at scenario end and all the secondary objectives achieved, the scenario just gives a minor defeat.

But worse yet, when ending the scenario with such "minor defeat", the scenario starts again. Didn't play it again, I was just able to see the same exact briefing and start position. I don't know it this is intended, but I guess it's not...

Destroy as per the instructions in the reward box...
There is currently a 'Capture all 5 primary objs' condition in this trigger. This means the reward will be awarded at scenario end (or start of next scenario?).
I'll this condition in the next update.

@Erik2

First of all many thanks for your superb work.

In the last days I played with joy the "Germany West 1939-40" campaign. Now I wanted to continue with "Germany West 1941-43" but I couldn't download, I just get an 404 error.

Edit: now it's working. My fault... :D

My problem could have been that the last few times I played, I made sure to save one of the objectives until I could take all of them so it would be 6/5 objectives taken at the end. Not sure if that affects it, will test and get back to you

Edit: No change

Erik, I looked into the scen and the problem may be the trigger event: "combat". You've linked the award of this objective with the completion of the primaries. Why? The final action in this scen will probably be the capture of the last VP, not combat. I'd suggest to remove the "check objective state" condition from the trigger (and maybe change the trigger event to "turn start").

Guys, if you want this objective to work as it is, you have to capture at least 5 primary VPs and after that objective is checked "complete" you have to perform one combat action in the same turn. Then you should be awarded the tank.

There was a vital 'remove' missing in this sentence...

I'll ... this condition in the next update.

Indeed. I was thinking in terms of "check" or "look into". I'm glad it's sorted now.

I'm sorry to insist, but the Germany 41-43 campagn can't be finished since the last update. The Taranto scenario appears bugged and loops again and again

I'm being a bit nostalgic, maybe.

I recall a huge problem with AI thinking times with that campaign - and I've never finished it. But I don't remember if we managed to solve this issue with the new AI team distribution or not (?). I may give US Naval another go. :D

I'm sure that Erik will fix that eventually, but he has got enough on his plate already, so it may take a while. You can use the #igotnukes cheat for the time being.

Thanks for the feedback.

Chema_cagi :

Taranto is added to my 'Germany West 1941-43' to-do list.
The loopback is intended. Generally in my campaigns, a minor defeat will allow/force you to replay the scenario. You need at least a draw to move to the next scenario.

I know Erik and you are embarked on a big and promising northern project :) . I was just making sure the message was not going unnoticed, since it was after another statement. I have played the US Corps 42-43 camp instead; Eirk has given to us all a lot of choices to play :D

Don't be in a hurry at all, I was just making sure you had read the problem report. Good to know the loopback is intended, never had it before. The issue is then limited to the fact of having a minor defeat after occupying 5/4 objectives

thanks.
about next scenario, is realy well balanced but there are some mistakes:

1. the dump is created automatically, but maybe in the wrong position so the obj do not trigger
pump.jpg
pump.jpg (356.58 KiB) Viewed 2043 times
2. at the end I have 4/5 main objs not 6/4 and 4/8 not 5/6 secondary objs :o
