Like the First Round draw, this will be a split draw so that players who do not have FOG2 Medieval are not paired against a player with a medieval army selection. There are 5 such players this time and I will be adding 3 other players who are also using FOG2 Ancients armies to join them in the first part of the draw, which will be comprised of 4 matches. These three other players will also be drawn from the bag prior to the main draw. Once these first 4 matches are drawn out, all the remaining discs will be put in the bag for the second part of the draw. As is customary in this tournament, there is no seeding whatsoever in any draw.
I think the First Round draw was generally very kind to the higher rated players as hardly any of them were drawn against each other. There were still a couple of "upsets" though, with tyronec defeating harveylh in a closely fought battle and sivispacem doing very well to defeat lydianed. The only 2 new players to enter, Scrofulus and JonPowles, did not make it through to this evening's draw, but I hope to see them in the next season of the FOG2DL starting on June 1st.
