I have a request oh omnipotent one: Can you move the "map" grid to the entry with the player's list? It is now too small to read and I've had to scroll up and down repeatedly to figure out who is where. Thanks,

Don't berate me, oh master of The Lost World...but just to be clear:
All cities which players informed me of have been built...
If by that you mean they are shown on the map I must add that my new cities are not there.
But I guess it's just not updated yet.

Map is not upto date yet - Scar has the details but is also running his own campaign.

Looking at moving the map grid as it is too small currently.

There's some catching up to do!

We will rout the Traitrous Egyptians in the vale of Glenlivet, still red with the blood of the previous invaders, the Canaanites
We will break the even more despicable Romans in the Slave Pits

We warmly welcome the Delian Confederacy (25) as neighbours and invade them. SOA Challenge posted, password "freedom"
We note the grievous mis-spelling of whisky by Tuam (24) and invade them, traversing the territory of our kind ally the Covenanter empire. SOA Challenge posted, password "brave"

We march! (after a few aspirin).
After a short interlude to commune with nature in the Clywdian Hills -

Tuam will defend against the depredations of the vowel deficient whisk(e)y peddlars of Clan Braveheart on the slopes of Slieve Muck.
The righteous and whiskey fortified forces of Tuam will counter invade through the lands of our new friends Crimea - leaving a case or two of Tullamore Dew by way of thanks en route.
The game is just being posted and with a crushing inevitability the password is - "whiskey"

It seems LWW1 (Lost World Whisk(e)y War one) is in progress.
Apologies to all it appears our counter-invasion must wait until Clan Braveheart have been rolled off the slopes of Slieve Muck.
This may take some little time as they are refusing to come up in order to be rolled down.
So here we sit sipping our whiskey waiting for the plaid clad teuchters to climb on up. And they claim to be Highlanders!!!!

First Battle of Lakedamia (Delian Confed. 25)

Post by Blathergut »

The Great One replunks in the palace pool, fresh from a great victory (like...umm...his 2nd maybe in 12 battles??!! )!

Awaits word from CharlieChap if he'd like to go round two, whilst the bubblettes fawn over him with freshly imported sponges.

King Antipatriohaephistus 'the almost Unpronounceable' of Delos is rumoured to be too dejected after the death of his first born during the First Battle of Lakedamia to contest the Invasion.

Lakedamia is land 'Spearwon' by Egypt.

At least he died with his sandles on...unlike Alexander.

This one is an SOA battle for variety...
Hidde, what province am I attacking now? The Map still shows your attack on me.

I missed that when I sent Scar my latest PM. Inconsequential sideshows like that tends to slip my mind :P
I'll send him a new one.

Thought that you were going to invade??? However, my new allies are sharpening their spears - which are long enough to reach into your dark cavities .... err, I mean the ones that you are hidde-ing in.
I have. Didn't you get the PM? Challenge is up.
ah ha the password is "welcome" .... a bit like at the Mines of Moria; Speak "friend" and enter. Are you a Balrog per chance?
Forgot to mention that you are fighting for the rich province of Broome. The land is hot and the crocs are hungry for Servant flesh. Broome is renown for it's beautiful pearls (harvested from the ocean by equally beautiful oriental divers). If you win, your reward is necklace of pearls - delivered personally by Cecil & Cyril.

petergarnett wrote:Fall season officially fully over now guys - diplomacy is at an end. Let lose the dogs of ........ oh I see most of you have already done that.

There be riots on the streets of the cities & towns of Rhodes and Eupatoria - the ruling dynasties being so unpopular.

Challenges being posted to both xiccarth & ianiow - you must crush these revolts or be over-thrown. Due to your unpopularity, and despite those last minute efforts to fool the people with your 'generosity' xiccarph, you have difficulty raising full armies. To meet the rebels (Slave army MF) you may only use 400 points v their 500. Be warned the rebels blades are poised at your throats - you must show no mercy in crushing them
Does this mean we are now in Winter (already?). It seems odd that Summer was never-ending and now Fall is so short - perhaps it is because Summer was so long!

Does this also mean that we are not meant to be fighting now?

The seasonal Fall phase is over but not the campaign turns - so please carry on with the butchery.

Now I've had a glance at the rules and saw that cities take two season to build.

No - just an asterisk to show that there is a city. The upgrades are available from me.

This first year city builds were immediate to help get countries up and running. Next year onwards they take 2 seasons (except any new players get a free build to start them off).

Doh, I should have built a city! Curse those old hags, I will never listen to their advice again. Or maybe take more time to examine the rules :?

After weeks of celebration upon the rise of the Kingdom of New Englandia and a glorious trip to the Cornellian Halls of Ithaca to honor the graduation of the Crown Prince we return home to the horror of multiple invasions by our dishonorable neighbors  !

We will repel the invaders and advance into their lands!!!!

Armenia invades the highlands of Mohawk using their Wars Roses Lancs vs. our elite Medieval Burgundians.

Rome invades the plains of Hampden using their Mid Republican Romans vs. our Pyrrhic phalanx.

Crimea invades our vinyard lands of Pascommuck using their War Roses Lancs vs. our elite Medieval Burgundians.

Our dear neighbor Phanagoria invades the rolling hills of the Berkshires using their Bosporans(mid) and is met by our 3rd troop of elite Medieval Burgundians.
