NIKIVDD-

Still playing this great mod! (With SS Elite units)

Just completed Sevastopol mission.

Was wondering...what is the maximum core units allowed in the campaign?

Also....maximum SE units allowed?

Thanks

Max core = 55
Max SE = 9

That's at least the case in the US missions :)

Post by nikivdd »

v1.13 is out!

Changes:

- German localisation files. Experience GTPG entirely in German!

- Equipment file exchanged by the GTPG 2 equipment file; check the GTPG 2 thread for more information.

!!!Remember, if you play with a personal e-file, remove the one that comes with the rar file!!!

A big thank you for the 1200+ downloads of v1.12.

Hey there,

first of all, thanks for this great MOD!

I just started it from the beginning and was wondering why an upgrade is so expensive.
Example:

I bought an PzIIE or sth in the first scenario.
At the beginning of the next scenario I wanted to upgrade them to PzIII.

Now, when I upgrade them it costs a lot more than when I would buy a PzIII "new".
Why is that? Is that some part of the rulez for this MOD?
In the vanilla version of PzCorps and its Grand Campaign it's not like that.

I use V1.22 but play with 1.14 rulez.

Thanks for your help

The rules for upgrading a unit is the same as in any official add-on.
Upgrading a Pz II to a Pz II is much cheaper than upgrading to a Pz III. The upgrade usually outweighs the purchase of a new unit. An upgrade retains the experience and heroes while a newly purchased unit starts from zero.

Hi, unfortunately it's not the same...when I upgrade pzII to pzIII it costs around 400 prestige. a "new" pzIII costs 267 or sth.
And that's different to the grand campaign. there, the costs for upgrading are exactly like the original price for a "new" pzIII.
I understand you have to "pay" the complete amount for a new tank and not only a part. but it doesn't make sense to pay more than a new model would cost alone.

I investigated the matter further and appearingly in the past, i have changed the upgradecost for whatever reason . It is set on 150, which should be 100. It is corrected in the gamerules file in the attachment.
Changes become in effect either by restarting the campaign, or from the next scenario in the campaign.

Thanks so much, it works now perfectly fine!
As I'm now in 4th scenario I just add some prestige for the additional costs and it should be fine...thanks for the quick correction and upload!

Nikivdd-

I am still playing the campaign with v1.12.

Do I need to d/l the above gamerules.rar? Or does that d/l only apply to v1.13 exclusively?

The error was already present in v1.12. So if you prefer to pay the normal amount of prestige to upgrade a unit, use the new gamerules file.

Hi there, I just got another question...I chose the 1.14 rules but actually I think I'm playing with the 1.22 rulez as additional strength costs more...has it something to do with this mod or am I doing something wrong? I just got on the second tab with the expanded rules and clicked the 1.14....do I have to save this somewhere?

and BTW I am now in France (Fall gelb) and I must say that this is an awesome campaign so far! :D

The upgrade cost was adressed a couple of posts ago. For now, use the gamerules hotfix to roll back the price of upgrading to the default cost. It will be part of an update in a couple of weeks with some more dots and kommas rectified.
I'm glad you like the campaign sofar :)

Hey nikivdd, sorry, I guess you got me wrong. I was talking about the cost of overstrength a unit. Not upgrading to another vehicle.
That's part of the new 1.2 rules. But I picked 1.14 rulez; that confuses me a bit. Is there anything else to do beside clicking on 1.14 rules?

Besides a discrepancy in the cost of green reinforcements, i saw nothing further out of the ordinary with the exception that i switched off the softcap for v.122.

GTPG has been updated to v1.14.

https://www.sendspace.com/file/tbfcja

Changes:

-GTPG version is no longer mentioned in the Kummersdorf mission nor is the Panzer III. (also corrected in German briefings)
-In Westerplatte scenario number of Polish units has been reduced, number of core units from 28 to 20.
-In Madrid scenario, the SE Pz III has been removed. This unit is now given in the first Fall Weiss mission. Also added 4 extra deployment hexes for planes in Madrid scenario.
-The gamerules hotfix is now part of this update.
