Yes, open the data.cmp file and change the -2 to whatever the next scenario is.

Example: Change -2 (campaign stop) to 25 (next scenario).
The 5 numbers are (from left to right): major defeat, minor defeat, draw, minor victory, major victory

[Dijon]
location = -3.592,-1.727
scenario = 25Dijon
specs = germany, 5
result = -2,-2,25,25,25
core = wehrmacht -3.026,-0.965
flag = france -4.331,-2.252
arrow = 50,50,50 -3.255,-1.247 -3.592,-1.727

Thanks Erik. I want you to know I am really enjoying the campaign and really appreciate your work on it.

If it helps with troubleshooting attached is a savegame from Piatek where despite holding the objectives at the end of the scenario I am given a Draw outcome.

Edit: looks like the file failed to upload. Anyway it is very easy to recreate. Paitek never checks off by turn 2 error the other defend and hold objectives do.

Should next scenario be 25 or 26? The scenario says 25Dijon so Dijon is 25? Maybe if you set 25 as next, it loops back to Dijon again.

Look at the Branches list in the data file. The first scenario is numbered 0 (zero) so they are off by 1 compared to the scenario names.
Just use the number under each scenario heading. 25 in the branch should be Maginot.

My next campaign is numbering the scenario names 0, 1 etc so they will use the same number as in the branch.
Sorry about the confusion.

Really enjoying the campaign so far. I would like to leave some constructive feedback and I hope it is not seen as a complaint but a means to make the campaign even better. My play through so far is on Major difficulty and I would consider myself an experienced player.

Polish scenarios - Very fun with some broken secondary objectives. I managed to complete all objectives up to Warsaw but there are some broken secondaries on that map. On Warsaw also the artillery that is captured should be aux units, not core units or like PC I think one of the given units goes into your core. 3 additional artillery units added to my core when I already have several so they can never be deployed.

Denmark - To be honest this scenario was not for me. It was not hard but it was just boring with most of units just moving across open country side each turn without much resistance. Worse yet I am given a bunch of core units that I do not want including more artillery. The 3 artillery units that were given never dismount from their trucks so they are not usable the entire scenario. By this point all specializations are purchased so if I wanted more infantry units in my core I could buy them in starting with one star. So I would say make any units that appear in scenario as aux units and allow the player to shape their own core rather than clutter it with unwanted units. Also, I am guessing due to the size this scenario took a long time to load on my machine and ran very poorly.

Norway - Again not my favorite probably due to the scale of the map. Not hard as primaries can be captured quickly. Just my opinion but I would have preferred the PC Norway scenarios even if they are not 100% accurate.

Albert Canal - More unwanted core units added, this time air units. They should be aux units for use on the scenario alone or they should come with some experience.

Haag - This is the first scenario I ran into some trouble. The turn limit is very tight and the Fallschirmjager will get slaughtered if left around the airfield. I pulled them back to Rotterdam to keep them alive until panzers could link up. AI seems to have an endless supply of units and RP.

Sedan - First scenario I could not get a major victory. You can't really cross the river except in the south as the units that land on the west bank are immediately out of supply. Is there a supply ship I missed? Turn limit of 18 is really short considering the important bridges on both banks are scripted to blow and it takes at least 3 turns to repair them. Turn limit of at least 20 would probably be more fair. Raucourt-el-Flaba VL seems to be bugged as it shown as captured from the very start. Best I could get was a draw.

General Positives: I love how each map has exit points for my units. Once air superiority is attained I can retire my fighters and AA units. It should be mandatory in all OOB scenarios. AI is super aggressive which makes the scenarios a challenge. Pure Blitzkreig enjoyment.

General Negatives: Way too many scripted bridges blowing up in all scenarios. Too many supply points on borders of map making encirclement of large groups of enemy not a valid tactic. Also, AI seems distracted by them and commits important units to their capture or defense instead of defending VL's. AI is super aggressive which makes many scenarios a advance and then brace for suicidal AI counterattacks. Most scenarios could benefit from the player getting some additional deployment points. AI could do with fewer RP or player needs more turns. More commanders too please. :)

Again this is meant to be constructive criticism and only my opinion. I'm really looking forward to the East front and hope you find the time to convert them to OOB eventually.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. I'll take another look at the specific scenarios and see if I can fix/enchance them.

Did you play the latest version of the campaign? There were a lot of changes to scenarios (ie bridge blowing).

This campaign is a conversion of a couple of the original PzC campaigns; turn numbers, AI units and objectives are set up as close to the originals as possible. I have added new secondary objectives whenever it seemed natural.
Note that some sec objs are really hard to test if the work OK, so there will most often be some issues with these.

I agree that a number of middle/late scenarios should have aux units plus command points. It is hard to get the whole picture when there's more than 50 scenarios in the campaign...

Some designer notes:
PzC does not handle supply so I've worked out a system for this in OOB. All towns etc get 3 supply, enough for 1 inf unit. Roads leaving the map get 5 supply and railroads 10 supply.
If this is not enough to cover the on-map units, I add more supply to objectives.
The income for all factions is equal to the number of units fielded. I try to let each military brand have its own faction if possible. This means income may be allocated separately to British RAF/land faction or Wehrmacht/SS for instance.

I have started work on a follow-up campaign. This starts with Yugoslavia, Greece and Crete before turning to Barbarossa. I'll probably publish the first version when I reach the end of 1941.

Thanks again for reporting. Very helpful.

I thought I was using the latest version but I just downloaded v2.8 to make sure going forward. Playing Arras scenario I held all primary objectives as well as completed all secondary objectives but received a draw. The first primary never completed. Saved game attached if it helps. Scenario was still a blast to play, so many British tanks. On to Calais. :twisted:

Some remarks on the first few scenarios Blitzkrieg 1939-40.
I am a Pole and although for many years I do not live in my homeland,always been interested in the history of the Second World War,and participate in this war, Polish soldiers.
Poles fought on all fronts of the Second World War from Moscow to London and from Narvik to Tobruk.
They fought and perished, "for our freedom and yours",and on the banners of the Polish units from the ages listed are the three words
GOD HONOR HOMELAND.
Names such as Squadron 303,Polish 1st Independent Parachute Brigade ,Polish Independent Carpathian Rifle Brigade and Battle of Monte Cassino where poppies were so red because the saw Polish blood these are facts known to all.
I am proud that I am a Pole......................sorry for the long admission :D
SCENARIO LODZ (ŁÓDŹ)
After turn 10 Polish counter-attack of tanks in the vicinity of Lowicz sparked such a shock in my unit that I had to temporarily move back up a deep defensive.
Will not be easy I thought, on the other hand, from where Poles took so many tanks ? :roll: hell............
Unfortunately, Eric misses the historical truth, in September 1939 the only thing that we had more of Germans are HORSES.Polish cavalry attacked German tanks with their sabers and the result of this unequal struggle was known.This is the courage and imagination of Polish cavalry,but to understand it you have to be born Pole.
sorry
Of course Poles had some heavy equipment like tanks but not in the quantities............This scenario've WON but I was so ignorant I did not expect what will next LOL.
SCENARIO PIATEK (PIĄTEk)
Polish army counter-attack on the line of the river Bzura.Shortly if the Polish army in September 1939 had such amount of tanks and armored vehicles, as in this scenario,
the war would end with September 15 of course Polish victory, which would save a lot of tragedy to the world. :cry:
It is interesting from where Poles took so much of tanks....unless they borrowed them from the Russians..Erik ? :D
I'm very curious the other scenarios ,and only I wonder in which one Polish strategic bombers appears over Berlin :lol:
Sorry for my sarcasm .Whole OOB game is wonderful fun also thanks to you, Erik...............

This campaign is a conversion of a couple of original Panzer Corps campaigns.
So I have not done any research for these scenarios, except the Denmark and Norway ones.

Dijon - I would recommend giving the player 2 additional turns.
Maginot - Fine as is though after loading a save the first VL would not complete. However, when I played straight through before it was not an issue.
Channel Islands - Maybe I am approaching this wrong but I have nothing to damage the enemy destroyers. The schnellboats have no surface attack and their torpedoes do nothing. This was also a problem in Calais and Hague. Strat bombers do little damage and Stukas, at least for my tastes, take unacceptably high losses when attacking an armed 1940 vintage vessel. An elite 5 star Stuka should not take 2-3 losses attacking a green destroyer. Stukas were vulnerable yes but in 1940 AA defense on naval vessels was primitive at best. Maybe this will be corrected with Kriegsmarine release but as of now it is not playable due to no fault of Erik.

Would it be possible to split the Sealion missions on to a separate campaign and have this one end at Maginot for those who don't like the what if scenarios? Also, should I be able to import my core to the next campaign or does that not work for custom campaigns?

There are several issues with German unit stats. I hope they will be addressed in the upcoming KM-campaign.

I'm considering splitting this campaign into one 1939-40 and one Sea Lion. 50+ scenarios are a bit much...

The PzC Grand Campaign is stringing the various yearly campaigns together as far as I know.
The longest single campaign is probably Sea Lion with 30 scenarios.

I played all the German campaigns on the iPad.
Earlier I created a custom Market-Garden campaign for PzC.

Did you play Allied corp and US Corp? I finished allied but still have to play US Corp. I tried it at Christmas time but got slapped around in Kasserine Pass quite badly by Rommel. I will try it again after playing OOB for awhile.

I would like to see Allied Corp ported to OOB. That would be awesome. US Corp was not great with all of the wonder weapons.

Yikes, facing Bitish DD Battle (44-45) with powerful AA in the Dunkerque '40 scenario! These should be rather E-Class during that time.
Don't trust the missing vanilla availability dates! Anyway, I'm still accepting the challenge!

You are right. I will replace those DDs...
