Southern command reports slow moving. Losses taken in the open fields due to accurate AT fire and artillery. Last couple of turns have seen Soviet armor destroyed and infantry becoming suppressed in the forward town.

Can't wait for the tide to turn and the red wave to conquer all ! I do think though brumbar there should be army lists and defeated units taken off of it ? That's the only thing I can take from my iminent defeat from morge as I've taken out some key units

I certainly think the idea of defeated units has merit and I think Army Lists could accommodate that from battle to battle (it would mean updating the lists each time...but not a huge deal). However, it does add a level of complexity. I was just trying to keep this first campaign simple in terms of win/loss...but I can also see how as the Allies that might be frustrating. Don't forget though, this is a timed thing, you don't need to win every battle, just a few...enough to delay the advance.
The next battles will certainly be more of anyone's game.
FM's once you have all of your results in, please post here and we can begin the next round.
Reserve Generals, get ready. Because there are two of you, the FM's will need to know what side your on, first to respond here will get their preference.

Line defense was a struggle. The games afoot!

The battle in the Center is over. The Germans had no trouble defeating the Soviet defenders.

Sorry, I jumped the gun on the map update...but it could be easily changed if you managed to do the impossible!cavehobbit wrote:The battle in the Center is over. The Germans had no trouble defeating the Soviet defenders.
If there is a Soviet player who would like to be an Axis player, I'll switch sides with you. Speak soon though, I'm sure the FM is formulating his plans... Edit; scratch this, I'm on the reserve list.

MacD did what he could with very few defenders! These line units were very weak.MacD2013 wrote:Line defense was a struggle. The games afoot!

Battle against glenghiscan is complete. His Soviet forces mauled my Panzer DIV but in the end all Soviet units were dispatched.
Well played by glenghiscan and I was concerned coming up to the first two flags after loosing 2 AC's, 3 Inf and 2-3 tanks.
Onward for the Fatherland!

If you need someone to sit out a round, so others can play, I can do that.
