Andy,

Most of the Oxford team will bring their own Sandwiches.

The local BP garage has a M&S as it's shop so you can get sandwiches there. There is also a small Waitrose shop as part of the Services at the Peartree interchange at the A34 junction.

Important note for travelling players : Garages have either M&S or Waitrose (none of yer "Wild Bean Cafe" muck here Sir!") and "sandwiches" are also capitalized when one is in Oxford.

I have just found that the public transport links will not get me to Oxford for a 9am start. I thought they would but I would be about 30 minutes late. Therefore is anyone going from the London area
that I could cadge a lift with? If not I will have to travel up on Saturday and stay over.

Now received clarification on the outstanding entries and we now only have 1 outstanding list from Nik Gaukroger who has not contacted me to say whether he is still coming or not.

Query on army lists

If I want to have the option of using detached shot, do I need to submit an alternative army list to Bob before the tournament, or just adjust my army list on the day?

Thanks

It needs to be submitted to the list checker with your original list.

Just a quick question, is it pre-set terrain as usual?

Cheers,

Yes Geoff - see first post - I suspect it will be just a mix of Agricultural, Hilly and woodland!

How dare you 'knackered ponies indeed, we are just bijou and slightly tired, definitely not knackered, well I hope not as my entire army is mounted on them

The first three places in the Oxford Round were: -

1st Jim Gibson - 72 point
2nd Don Avis - 44 points
3rd Tim Porter - 41 points

Martin von Tol was equal on 41 points but the three players Tim had player overall finished higher than Martin's.

Full results in a couple of days.

Hall already booked for the same weekend next year.
