Updates are on pages 1 and 2, with one camo type being totally redone. So now you have new Pionieres units to match the camo and reg units.

For sure. A nice addition for realism plus a very interesting look.guille1434 wrote:Did the Canadians in Dieppe used Churchills Mk.I and I am sure they fitted them with deep wading equipment... A new, distinctive looking icon more to make!

Yes, it seems they used an assortment of variants, Mk.I, Mk.II and Mk.III... Some of the tanks were fitted with flamethrowers (but not with the fuel trailer of the later Crocodile), and all were fitted with a deep wading kit, with taller exhaust "chimneys" and longer (taller) "Y" shaped air intake piping.
By the way, thanks for the new icons they are cool!

Good to know on the tanks, guess we can just keep adding to the list of things we would like to make!! After all my recent updates in this thread i now need to spend a few days sorting my crap out and organizing it!! Bah, that wont be fun!guille1434 wrote:Yes, it seems they used an assortment of variants, Mk.I, Mk.II and Mk.III... Isn't that the truth...Anfield wrote:Good to know on the tanks, guess we can just keep adding to the list of things we would like to make!! After all my recent updates in this thread i now need to spend a few days sorting my crap out and organizing it!! Bah, that wont be fun!
Sorting always seems to be the tricky part. I tend to collect so much mod material that if I don't take time out to organize, it becomes totally unmanageable. Oh well, par for the course I guess.

Yeah Iceflame, thats why I have been putting it off for a while now! I need to download the latest update for PC, and for the Elite Units MOD too. Which means putting in over 300 skins if I did, again lol Not to mention all the units I created going into the data files etc. Just typing that was depressing lol

Re: Anfields Army Men and Unit Icons Updated 2/26/14
I hear ya. I'm in the same boat with the latest update. Just finished a bunch of custom mods for v1.20, so I'm really not looking forward to overhauling it so soon. Time to play for a while and then I'll think about tackling an update. Maybe.

Hey, Anfield, can you create an Italian HW infantry, please? I don't know how many times I've already wished for a little more punch with these guys.

I use the Bergasali and make it a 43 version with better stats.
Anyway, here is a heavy paratrooper from the Total Realism Mod.

Sure I can give that a go, was thinking of making the Italians in my thicker style, so give me a few days to see what I can come up.Horst wrote:Hey, Anfield, can you create an Italian HW infantry, please? I don't know how many times I've already wished for a little more punch with these guys.

Nice looking unit.Razz1 wrote:Anyway, here is a heavy paratrooper from the Total Realism Mod.
I haven't looked at the TR mod before, but if this is any indication, it might be worth it.
Cheers!

Horst: Besides the unit Anfield will make, that will be excellent (We all know we can expect the best from him!), if you go to the "PzCorps Support Base" thread, you will find something useful.
Cheers!

Horst, Ive done the artwork for the HW Italians and changed the other 3 Italian units to match the style of all the infantry I do. Little thicker and darker, equipment changes etc. Still need to move them to the 4 panel icon, so look for me to post them hopefully by the end of the day, if not tomorrow.

Here are the Italian HW's. Use the US HW efx file for them.

I'm liking the look of these...Anfield wrote:Here are the other three Italian units done in my style.
Now I can pit them against your Canadian units in a desperate struggle for Sicily!
Nice work, thank you!

Youll have to let me know what stats you use and how it effects using the Italians.
