Well after hard resistance from morge4, be aware of his strategic placing in defense and the use of his mortairs, has made my infantry stay stock for a 90 percent of the game, thanks i got Lucky killing his 88s and his armour quite soon and with that i was Able to finally take the center of the map and with that hit rest of the flags. Nice game.

I got a lucky fast advance from the side that crunched the defense, that and the help of the naval against his infantry make it fast. It seems that i Will get in our personal remach a payback.

So i only have 2 Games left vs John tindal from the start i can see it will be at the best 1 to 1, what a way to attack as allies. Brrr

I am starting another battle against Leci for fun as allies, it looks he is interested in puting in place everything that has learned in the Other battles. But i have learned a couple of tricks in my battles as well so prepare yourself for blood and metal, because this british army Will stand until the lást man.... Lol by the way if Anyone else is interested in a battle out of the campaign PM and i Will be moré than pleased.

I have opened 3 Games with password skull for Anyone that is interested ... Waiting for another epic battles against you Jon, you know how spanish fight until the lást men, the lást of Cuba and Philipins give some idea of that.
By the way it Will be great to have and scenario of the spanish civil war 1936 to 1939, since it was the place were the germans and italians, allied with the falangista and the army: general sanjurjo, mola and after the death of this two franco, tested theire weappons as well as the rusians with the republicanos after the refusal of the french and british goverments to give support, because they Came a lot of french, british, germans, canadians, australians, usas and from tons of diferent countrys (by the way México gave a lot of money and guns as well.
It was the start of the change in táctica from the WW1 to the second world war, if the french Will have taken some notes it wouldnt have gone so bad for them.
Is a devastating war with airplanes taking inportance, artillery, tanks and big infantry units used a little bit like in the WW1 but as well with sneaky asaults and propaganda, millons of deaths. But unfortunelly forgotten from the memory... And won by a dictatorship who keeped Spain 40 years under his command.
The battle of jarama, Toledo, Madrid, Valencia, and ofcourse the Ebro. Let see if we can push some developer to get interested On it. It Will be great to dont let that in to forgiveness.... I Will not talk moré about it in this forum for enjoyment.... So lets play and sorry for the chat.

Interesting idea JC... I'm sure Hemingway would approve...

I confess I'd need to swot up on the history, but the Spanish Civil War has a reputation for being a shockingly bloody conflict, with major set piece offensives like Guadalajara, Aragon and Jarama... and of course, the horrific bombing of Guernica by the Condor Legion... Since units from many nations were involved, including "volunteer corps" from Italy, France, Russia, Germany... and inexperienced internationale youth brigades from across the Western world... plus early German, French, Italian and Russian tanks... it's probably worth waiting for BA2, to see what Pip & friends give us, in terms of Eastern Front materiel, before creating these scenarios... Especially if they enhance the terrain height system, which I understand was critical to a number of battles...

I'll certainly play if you create 'em!

I am with a 50/50 in the Other one as allies i had the initial punch but jt has made a promissing counterattack attack and i have over reacted falling in to a mouse trap.

Artic, ii started 2 Games with him, i wish you Will have posted before, he grabed me complitely unaware. No words, he has in 1 turn almost closed both Games, but i Will make him earn this 2 victories. I think we Will have great problems in the Other scenario with him, but at list we Will be prepared for what is waiting for us. Thougtfull and agresive, smart strategies and creative ... Ouch have to be scipion the africanus to win Aníbal. The battle of zama is coming.
