THANK YOU VERY MUCH. IF YOU GET THE TIME, PLEASE DO ONE WITH THE L/70 AND ONE WITH THE l/71 Kwk 43 88mm. Just a little longer barrel. These are not in the game.
I did a "quick and dirty" modification to get the Alkett version.

This is only the L70, and I'd leave it at that, afaik the 88er version remained a paper project. I want to stick to my (completely arbitrary) "units in use get priority" rule. Also it could be they still add units for major countries with further DLCs. So I'll get back to my other work after that.

In case someone is wondering about the gun in the preview below, it just appears to be on different heigth because it's not centered, but more to the side of the front hull (like on the real vehicle). So it looks a tad different when you turn the whole vehicle around, which I did in 3d, as opposed to just flipping one sideview in 2d.

This one gets probably done this weekend.

It looks great and I also salute your attention for the finished product! Good decision on that!

Thx :)

So here it is: http://www.gamefront.com/files/21205284 ... ory004.zip

(also edited into the OP)

I didn't test the unit in-game so far, but don't expect any problems. If you still notice any, drop me a message here and I'll fix it.

Thank you so much from the bottom of my Panzer loving heart Bebro! I have lusted after this unit since the game came out. For some particular reason I have always loved this Panzer Jager. Probably because it has such an unusual beastly shape and because Alkett made it. They were a big producer of Stugs which are another favorite of mine. Your work is impeccible. I would not have been surprised to see you put the steel mesh skirts on it with your ability! She is perfect as she is. The example in Samur is proud today.

Next I'll finish the 3d tut, and so the Panzerwerfer, then it's back to work on the USMC campaign.

For the Tatra? Well, I think people can use the one you already updated for AM if they want the cross. So no need for double work IMO, I just included the original gfx here to have everything together ;)

Here's my little pet project I'm working on now for a while:

Image

I don't plan to redo everything, but there are many units in PzC which share the same gfx, but look actually different. I fully understand the need to cut workload for the devs, so this is not a complaint at all, but why not see if we can improve things a bit...;)

I found this to be particularly an issue with air units, esp. fighters. So I'll make these and more in the next time to have more variety, to have gfx for different versions where it makes sense IMO, and with nat. symbols and paint close to the historic look.

The units US/UK units in the preview will be out first, hopefully in a couple of days (as you see the on-map gfx are done already). :)

They look great. I'd love to add them to the Maelstrom e-file when they're done, if it's OK with you.

'Fcourse, no prob :) Actually, playing Maelstrom fueled my work on this, since I found it would be nice if I could make out the exact version of a P47 or 51 (for example) at a glance.
