If it isn't provided I'm not going to guess. Over to Hammy ...

Well I quickly did a sort of historical draw for Hammy (define what you mean by "historical draw", there are a few versions out there and most end up spurious to some degree) which he may, or may not, use.

Personally I don't mind how its done - in fact I sorted Hammy's list alphabetically by surname and you get a perfectly good draw that way

Gordon Malcolm, Mike Shepherd and Steve Price all from Berkeley Vale club.

If you go historical and date I think David F. and I can pretty much work out our first round...

Some practical, non-draw-related questions:

Is the on-site parking adequate, or is there a risk we might have to park elsewhere, if so are there any recommendations?

Is there a charge for parking?

Parking is free, there are a decent number of places outside the venue, as long as you get there early (which as tournament entrants you will) you should be fine. The main show doesn't open till 10:00 IIRC

Thanks Hammy, is it still the case that we won't be able to get in before 9:30?

Probably.

They seem rather cagey about letting non traders or event organisers in too early.

Last year they let us into the cafe to wait for the opening time of the main hall.

I have a bad feeling that I have not got any masking tape :( I knew I needed something.

If anyone has some that they could bring it would be really handy.

I will bring some. I also have two 3' x 5' felt cloths which I will put in the car if you want them.

Cheers Bob,

The cloths would be nice as well.

I have yet to check the stationary stocks I have here.

Many thanks to Hammy and the Expo crew for putting on the event, I had a great time with the Tupi and was very pleased with my overall results, all my games being in a good spirit I felt with great opponents.

I fully agree with Steve. It was good to see so many unfamiliar faces, I think this is a great format for bringing new people into events.

Thank you,

Kevin
