Oh that's an interesting topic 8)
http://tankfront.ru/uk/in-action/in-act ... _1940.html

The British Expeditionary Force lost more than 60,000 vehicles in France, as well as more than 2,000 artillery pieces, 76,000 tons of ammunition, and about 6 million tons of other equipment.
http://www.redov.ru/istorija/britanskaj ... opa/p2.php
Germany estimated its possible losses in the operation to capture the Benelux and France in 1940 at 290 thousand people: 90 thousand killed and 200 thousand wounded. In fact, Germany lost 29,640 killed and 133,573 wounded in six weeks, a total of 163,213. There is evidence that Germany lost 138 thousand people in the West in 1940: more than 27 thousand killed and about 111 thousand wounded. France lost 92,000 killed, 200,000 wounded, and 1.8 million prisoners. Great Britain lost 68,000 killed (3,500 killed in the army, 1,500 killed in the Air Force), wounded and missing, including prisoners. Some losses were suffered by the Netherlands (for 9 days of fighting) and Belgium (for 17 days of fighting). In mid-June, Italy launched an unsuccessful offensive against France in the Alps. Let's put the data in a table:

Well, in this game, starting with the great-grandfather of Panzer General and ending with Panzer Corps, machine-gun tanks with 5 upgrade stars could easily destroy the KV-2 )))

France 40 :
16.05 Havre - 2nd A.Bde
24.05 Cherbourg -3nd A.Bde (w/o 3.RTR and 30 Inf.Bde - in Calais)

For the rest of 1940 and up until 27 August 1941, the division was stationed in the UK.

It arrived in Egypt on 13 November 1941.

It took part in many of the major battles of the latter part of the campaign against Rommel, including Gazala, First El Alamein, Second El Alamein, Tebaga Gap, Akarit, El Kourzia and Tunis. From the end of the Tunisian campaign the division remained in North Africa until May 1944. It then transferred to Italy, fighting one last battle at Coriano in the fighting on the Gothic Line.

Changes in Unit Scale.
I deside to make :
- Infantry Unit (Battalion) - about 800
Str [12] - Foot = 960 men
Str [10] - Mobiles = 800 men
- Tank Unit (Company) - about 15-20 pcs, coefficient 2
So, Tanks Unit Str [10] = 20 tanks
- Recon Unit (Battalion) - about 24 pcs, coefficient 2
Str [12] = 24 armored cars
-AT Unit (Battalion) - coefficient 1
12 cannon = Str [12]
-Arty Unit (Battalion) - coefficient 1
12 cannon = Str [12]

2nd Armoured Division

As the threat of invasion receded after the Battle of Britain, 2nd Armoured Division was reorganized and reinforced for service in the Middle East.
The following table lists tank strengths before departure in October 1940:

169 Mk VI (52 each in King's Dragoon Guards (Recce), 3rd Hussars, (?) 4rd Hussars, 4 pcs with 1st RHA).
6x(A9 CS) – 2th RTR.
12x(A10 CS) (6 each in 3th/5th RTR)
74x(A10) - 2 squadrons in 2nd RTR, 1 squadron each in 3rd and 5th RTR.
83x(A13) - 1 squadron in 2nd RTR, 2 squadrons each in 3rd and 5th RTR.

In addition, both brigade HQ (and division HQ) had 3xMk VI and 7xcruiser tanks (mainly A10).
In October 1940, the division set sail for the Middle East, arriving in 1941. 2 months later, the 'Hussars' converted to a 3-battery AT regiment, with AA battery re-equipping with 2pdrs and the other, 'A' Battery, transferring to the 25th LAA Regiment.

Rommel's offensive forced Wavell's troops to retreat. On 8 April 1941, the understrength 2nd Armoured Division was caught in a pincer movement by the Italian 10th Bersaglieri Regiment, the 5th Light Division and was destroyed and disband in 10.05.941.

At 8.04.1941:
• 3rd Armoured Brigade
+25.02 - 19.03.1941:
• 1st Royal Horse Artillery (RHA)
• 1st Light AA Battery
• Australian Field Regiment, Royal Austrian Artillery
• 1st Tower Hamlet Rifles
• 18th Australian Infantry Brigade AT Company
• Free French Motorized Battalion
At 8.04.1941:
• 5th Royal Tank Regiment
• 6th Royal Tank Regimen
• 1st King's Dragoon Guards (Recce)
• 3rd (The King's Own) Hussars

• 3rd Indian Motor Brigade
o 2nd Lancers (Gardner's Horse)
o 11th Prince Albert Victor's Own Cavalry (Frontier Force)
o 18th King Edward's Own Cavalry
• 2nd Support Group
o 1st The Tower Hamlets Rifles, The Rifle Brigade
o 104th Regiment, Royal Horse Artillery - (Until 4 April 1941 )
102nd (Northumberland Hussars) Regiment , Royal Horse Artillery (1941)
