An Eighteenth-Century game is desperately needed. Start at War of the Spanish Succession and go to the Seven Years War. Several modders have made some really good scenarios in this period but a full release with some minor game engine refinements would be most welcome. Namely some FOW on enemy units...

I usually take a wait and see attitude with games and I will with GBR. I do like the subject very much. I just always become gripped with fear when I read that a strategy/wargame will also be available on consoles. Looking forward to learning more about the game.

While very excited about GBR, I am trying to control my enthusiasm because the game will be ported to consoles. I have rarely, if ever, seen a good PC strategy/wargame that was playable on PC and consoles. Consoles seem to poison whatever they touch. Time will tell.

I think the new tactical battle engine is brilliant and a huge improvement from previous Slitherine games; which were very good by the way. Arcade mode=BAD.

Speaking of Legion II, would any non-salesmen type people have a window when we could maybe expect Legion II? Hopefully by late Spring '06.
