Re: Why hasn't WEGO dominated?

I think the old V4V and WaW series are still the best WEGO wargames on the market. They are also abandobware so free to download. I am currently playing an email game of World at War: Operation Crusader. The way that Decisive Compaigns handles moves in a turn-based manner is the best of the TB game ...

Re: So P&S is a wonderful game, can we move it...

An Eighteenth-Century game is desperately needed. Start at War of the Spanish Succession and go to the Seven Years War. Several modders have made some really good scenarios in this period but a full release with some minor game engine refinements would be most welcome. Namely some FOW on enemy units...

Lost password for multiplayer

I recently re-downloaded the game on a new computer and I can't find my old password for the multi-player server. How can I retrieve it or reset it? Thanks.

I usually take a wait and see attitude with games and I will with GBR. I do like the subject very much. I just always become gripped with fear when I read that a strategy/wargame will also be available on consoles. Looking forward to learning more about the game.

While very excited about GBR, I am trying to control my enthusiasm because the game will be ported to consoles. I have rarely, if ever, seen a good PC strategy/wargame that was playable on PC and consoles. Consoles seem to poison whatever they touch. Time will tell.

No I haven't, it was just a general comment on any kind of "easy" mode for any game. I can't imagine why anyone would want to use arcade mode. However, if one was so inclined, I am sure that arcade mode works fine. It just seems to me that it would rip out the guts of a fine tactical comba...

Well at least someone is still mining the salt and digging the coal. You guys should start a palace coup while Iain is off on his carribean jaunt. When he gets back all tanned and rested, then it will be he that must mine salt with his well groomed fingernails. That will teach him to enjoy l...

For the love of all that is holy, Slitherine is on some kind of self absorbed holiday fest while all of us poor gimps are left waiting for digital entertainment. Damn you Slitherine, damn you to eternal hell! :(

Yeah, who's he think he is? There is Legion II to get out the door. Recall him immediately and remind him it's a dog's life in the gamming biz.

I think the new tactical battle engine is brilliant and a huge improvement from previous Slitherine games; which were very good by the way. Arcade mode=BAD. :(

Speaking of Legion II, would any non-salesmen type people have a window when we could maybe expect Legion II? Hopefully by late Spring '06.
