I see. Thanks for the reply. Your post clears some of it up for me. Does armour just have an effect on speed\fatigue and defence? I was somewhat frustrated earlier, so I hope I didn't come across as ragging on the game too much. I'm going to reorder my army and give it another short.

I'm having a rather hard time with the game on standard difficulty. Actually just about every battle seems harder than perhaps it possibly could be. I'm thinking it is to do with my army.
