Re: Anyone still prefer Bulge over Moscow?
I like them both. As I am only playing full campaigns (in my opinion the short campaigns depend too much on luck) I play both of them depending on the time I want to spend - BotB is like a snack and DOM is like a full meal. The new Veteran AI in DOM is a bigger challenge than in BotB where I only go...

Update 2.0.1
Kudos - new map looks great!
Had my first GC under 2.0.1 vs Rokky giving me some real nice challenge.
Even dice seemed to be level playing field vs AI. Had roughly same amount of lucky and unlucky strikes. Random or fix?
Does veteran AI also move faster?
Looks like you did a fab job - many thanks.

Re: Supply rules for Allies
Thanks for your reply, David. Yes, I mean reinforcements (sorry I am no English native speaker). 1. ok got that - different rule in DOM as it seems 2. what about this one - 2nd Arm shows up in Hingeon instead of Arlon? I usually take the whole bottom row of the map as quick as possible to avoid rein...

Supply rules for Allies
I just had a strange game with AI supplying new units which should not have been there. The only areas still held by Allies at that time were Verviers, Hingeon, Orel, Dinant and Marche. 1. Verviers was surrounded by my troops but holding with 2 stacks vs my 3 stacks. Allies AI supplied a third stack...

Re: Game just transformed in Game loss :(
I experienced the same problem once playing vs AI. As I played offline I did not lose any elo or ranking but had to reopen the game about 10 times and it seemed to be frozen. I started a new game but still It always repeated the first move of the new game but that was it. The victory end message was...

Re: AI doesn't play fair
I have just thrown the towel in another sick game vs. AI where 1 single Chuck Norris pip defeated almost my complete forces. I mean hey - is this a ridiculous US movie or is this meant to be a strategy game? My personal stats say that the ratio is 1:4 at the best which is like playing Monopoly with ...

Re: AI doesn't play fair
Being sick for a week I have played many full campaigns vs AI both sides and I am now absolutely positive that the battle outcome favours AI. I have turned in several bug reports. I barely make any hit without being in overwhelming force. 8:1 (even in defenseless mode) in the plain is no warranty to...

Re: Retreat rules clarification
Is it possible that beaten troops retreat towards the biggest friendly unit in reach? Playing Soviets I desperately tried to re-open a pocket with 2 trapped stacks of inf with my 4 pip tank but was forced to retreat after Halder's counter attack. Instead of retreating back towards Moscow where I cam...

Re: Crashed!
I had a similar experience. The game crashed and when I wanted to start a new game I always got a defeat game over notice which blocked the screen and disabled the buttons left. Could not even turn in a feedback email. After a day or so without charging my iPad the problem disappeared by itself.

Re: Retreat rules clarification
Hmm, I have seen a few times that my troops or enemy troops got retreated into a cut off zone (deffo out of supply) with access to less hostile patches still being available. I never found a formula how retreat works in DOM or BOTB. I reckon it is sheer random which is ok keeping in mind that units ...

Re: Tips for the Soviets, grand campaign.
My experience with the full campaign is that in veteran mode Axis is quite easy to play as you can encircle and overrun Allied units and clean them up later. Don't kill them before the end to prevent respawning. I cleaned the board against 'Rokossovsky' several times with up to 95 VP while I find it...

Re: Tips for the Soviets, grand campaign.
Playing against human players does not help to overcome AI dice... The only way to beat "Halder" seems to be cutting off Axis units and avoid all combat situation. Unfortunately this strategy only works against The Alies. I lost a bunch of matches until I discovered that I just have to cut...
