Spitfire Performance
Very much enjoying playing around with the Scramble demo and impressed with the modelling; just a query about how the Spitfire I performs. I'm very conscious that: (a) This is still a demo! (b) I have no idea what the underlying performance model assumptions are in terns of fuel octane level, variab...

Re: Issue with Rebellions
That's strange, I don't see how you can lose a region if you don't lose the city and will the battle what's more. Either a misunderstanding or a bug. If you're not meant to lose a region after winning the battle, it is a fairly prevalent bug. Happens to me a lot. I don't know if toppins got you an ...

Re: How to extract for last scenario
My recollection is that you simply have to get the US Special Forces teams back to the FOB and all will be well.

Re: Why have my Spartan phalanxes deteriorated in quality
Any change in leadership? The quality of troops in an army is adjusted to reflect the skill levels of the commander (since FOG2 doesn't model differing commander capabilities). Hence the same unit can have a lower quality when exported to a FOG2 battle if serving under has a lesser army commander.

Re: New units add suggestion
Very interesting article, thanks! Another thing to consider is that in any re-enactments the lance will ideally bounce or break while in real warfare (especially when plate was no a part of knightly armor) it would be ideally sinking into the enemy. That could make couching risky since unless the l...

Scimitars post NATO withdrawal
I'm just trying out the Royal Marines module and in a skirmish game. Following the NATO withdrawal the British Scimitar unit (see screenshot) remains but becomes Afghan. Is this intentional? I notice that I can't buy any more Scimitars as Afghan reinforcements so maybe there's an inconsistency here?

US Forces after US Withdrawal
I've just finished a skirmish game where US forces withdrew on turn 45, all fine, they disappear and I'm left with only the Afghan units. I went to the reinforcement screen to see if I could acquire an extra supply truck to find that, lo and behold, I had the option to buy any of the US units includ...

Re: Tides of Conquest campaign tool (SP/MP, currently v0.3)
Having experimented a bit the switch to Graeco-Bactrian only seems to happen if the capital is established in Marv. If the capital is in Khurasan then the army stays Parthian.

Re: Tides of Conquest campaign tool (SP/MP, currently v0.3)
I’ve been playing around with Tides of Conquest in single player challenge mode and am impressed so far but I have a couple of queries. (1) How does the system work out the nationality of the armies involved in a battle? In the 220 BC set up I was I was playing as the Arsacids and, in turn 1, had my...

Re: Rise of AI Mod goes Global!
I was, momentarily, alarmed by the error messages and it took me a few minutes to realise it was the global AI mod where the incompatibility lay, only then did I see this posting. Many thanks in advance for the fix and for the mod generally which I enjoy and always use.

Just had something like this happen in the middle of the demo. I was able to select units and a square to which I wanted to move them but couldn't activate the action. The possible types of move (and suppressive fire) showed but a left click wouldn't allow me to select them. I saved the game, reload...
