Re: Gettysburg: The Tide Turns playtesting - Apply Here!
I would like to be a play tester if I am not to late. I play tested games for Talonsoft, back in the nineties when they made wargames before they got bought out. I have been playing wargames since 1975. I do have some time, an Ipad and experience with computer game work. This is the board game vers...

Hi all, I am Australian, I have an iPad mini so we can test the game on a smaller screen, I love battle of the bulge, and it's got to be good to have someone late in the time zone on planet earth. Have been gaming since 70s with strategy and tactics, I have toured most of the civil war sites in USA...

Re: Gettysburg: The Tide Turns playtesting - Apply Here!
Hi I would like to be considered as a play tester for Gettysburg. I have been in QA for fifteen years, testing web-based applications and servers - including usability. I have also tested an RPG on the iPad as well as regular beta tester for the DayOne application on the Mac and iOS devices. I'm we...

Re: Gettysburg: The Tide Turns playtesting - Apply Here!
I'd like to volunteer for play testing. I'm currently working on the El Al play test. I feel kind of bad volunteering for this one, too, since I'm sure others should be considered before me. If you'll have me, I'm game. Steve, There's a long tradition of game designers killing other game designers ...

I think I know who you are, but I need more than just a first name. Let me know.

Re: Asynchronous combat
Exactly the point - the only decisions made during combat are made by the player whose Combat Turn is being resolved, i.e., the attacker. The results of the combat are then posted. On the other player's view of the combat, they watch it being resolved, much as it works in Battle of the Bulge.

"General Discussion" Sub-Forum Merged Into Main
In recent weeks discussion of Battle of the Bulge has been increasingly split between the main game forum and the "General Discussion" sub-forum, to the detriment of both. When we set this forum up it was with the idea that pretty much everything would be in sub-forums except for announcem...
