At the end of a scenario, a difficulty button will appear below your victory message. You can change some options from there.

Did you consider upgrading your He 111's to Ju 88's? Their stats are much better.

Any time that you have turns at the end of the scenario to spare, you may want to let the AI spawn & then force surrenders for extra prestige. You will need every bit you can get at this level.

Have you tried using SB's at all? There's a variety of possible uses for them in the '39 Campaign.

You absolutely should upgrade to the JU88A. More fuel, more ammo & most of all a +2 soft attack. The only drawback is the cost, but it's not that bad.

This is not hard to do. You can do it easily in Allied corps. In fact I think Zilla Blitz has a recon with 3 heroes already at First Battle of El Alamein

There are a handful of scenarios where you can get extra kills for your SB's by attacking naval targets. Here's my quick list of GC East SB kill friendly scenarios:

39 - Narvik
40 - The Hague
40 - Dunkirk
41 - Crete Airborne
41 - Crete Naval
41 - Leningrad
42 - Sevastopol Siege
42 - Sevastopol ...

I use strat bombers a lot and rarely even manage a second hero. My 2x3A bomber was in the vanilla campaign, so fast hero acquisition.
I currently have a Do217 and He177 with about 550 kills each at the end of 43 (Kremenchug is a good boost) so I'd expect a second hero soon but unlikely to get a ...

By the by...has anyone ever gotten 3 heroes on a Strat? If so how? On what campaign. Would love to see a screen shot of that beast.
