Jarhead - I'm guessing you have a microsoft mouse. Try updating the mouse driver. I had some odd issues with some games until I did that. turned out the way MS set up the zoom feature in the previous driver caused graphics issues. OK...bad news. I did an uninstall of the base unpatched game and I had the same problem...so its not a patch issue. I updated my ATI drivers about two weeks ago. I now suspect it is a driver conflict.
