Re: Infantry viable?
Is it possible to try and keep my Steel Legion Infantry force intact for the entire campaign? I'm kinda partial to the Mechanized infantry model and don't want to have to turn them in for Space Marines or super heavy tanks. Is this possible? If so what are some suggestions for an Infantry-centric f...

Re: Very Hard - is it possible?
Thanks Docs.
The Space Marines dlc...are they much harder than the vanilla campaign?
And what about the difference between Hard and Very Hard? Is that so big?

Very Hard - is it possible?
I remember playing this game very close to release and while Hard mode looked rather easy, it had 2-3 scenarios which were BRUTAL (mostly defense missions).
Now I was wondering...is it possible to beat this game on very hard? I am talking about the campaign and the new dlc I see they added.

Re: Death Korps of Krieg and other additions W.I.P
Have you guys thought of creating a Siege of Vraks campaign?
You could use Death Korps (and later the existing Astartes assets) and then creating a Renegade militia faction shouldn't be too difficult, considering they mainly use Leman Russes and other IG assets.

Re: Army ballance
How can you use Medusas with their short range? Wouldn't they get decimated by long range enemy units?
I cannot use anything but Basilisks as artillery support.

Dude this mod rules.
Can you make the Korps as fully independent faction?

Define "close combat".
Do you mean the game series?

Re: How about pre-loading the animations?
I think anyone's computer can.
It's very annoying, as it targets the only thing that makes the game feel alive and not a screenshot slideshow.

How about pre-loading the animations?
So, even after patch 1.03 I (and many others) still experience terrible lag whenever a unit opens fire for the first time.
It looks terrible and it's a pity because it breaks immersion and ruins the animations which are really pretty.
How about adding a few seconds of loading time to fix this?

Re: Firing animation lag
Thanks for feedback. It's very important for us to know what things annoy the players. Alas, with the current build the only solution is to install the game on an SSD or RAM disk. But we'll look into improving this in the next updates. Glad to be of help, this is the first game I get from you guys ...

Firing animation lag
Hi guys! First of all, congratulations for such awesome game, it really brought the feel of WH4k as no other game! However, I noticed this annoying issue: Firing animations are laggy, but only when they appear for the fist time. Example: A Lasgun fires for the first time: laggy as hell-----> lasgun ...
