Okay, now I feel really stupid. Since you asked how long before I exited the game I thought I would just start it to refresh my memory. The darn game ran, version 1.1 I have no clue what was holding things up before. Thanks for your patients and suggestions.

The game has the Slitherine logo on screen, then, the audio and video on game startup and then it just dies. I do not get to the graphics loading screen. I have let it run for probably ten minutes with nothing happening. I start task manager and it tells me that the game is not responding, so, I exit.

I have the Steam version. The game did the patch automatically, but, now the game stops responding once it gets past the Slitherine splash and the startup video.

Tried the above but that would not run. Could not find the version number. I have downloaded the Patch1.1 and tried to do it manually, but, I did not receive any CD key with my Steam Version, so that will not run.
