Painting Help
So I just picked up my first two army starter packs, however, I've only painted 40k so I'm looking for some help. I have the Milanese and Burgundian starters from Old Glory. I have considered having someone paint them, but I'd probably hate myself in the morning. However, fantasy is "easier&quo...

A Bit of Help
In the quest to find a local opponent I've made a deal with my cousin. I'll buy the metal, he'll paint. Since I'm more gainfully employed it works out well (he's a game shop clerk). To that end I have a couple of favors to ask: 1.) We've played a quick game of Ord. Burgundian vs. Ord. French. We lik...

Re: Paper/Flat Terrain Pack
On the flip side, "Miniature World Maker" is really nice stuff, but is 'textured' so might not be what you're looking for. "Miniature World Maker" has had some negative press from people about the hills. I've never seen any. I really like his 'fields' and 'towns' and 'marshes' e...

Paper/Flat Terrain Pack
Anyone know of a company that cells "overhead" shots of flat terrain? That is either laminated paper or flat painted rubber so there's nothing to "move out of the way"?

Well I'm with Richard .. a) you cannot ambush anything that can't move in the terrain b) H Art cannot move in any terrain Seems pretty clear to me ... and was intentional too! Don't think we should FAQ something where its actually clear. The forum is here for situation where people want to ask, but...

Isn't a chart and a spreadsheet basiclly the same thing? I don't knoeI am a lowly Lieutenant so I could be wrong. But is some one fixing the chart? I still really don't think it is a big deal. I saw a post about a 2.0 being done. If I had more time and was not so lazy I would do it myself and call ...

Irondog wrote: As you read a spreadsheet if you read them as a spreadsheet they are wrong ------------------- Since the QRS is clearly not a spreadsheet, or even anything much like one, I'm puzzled as to why you'd read it like one? It's a table - the rows are even shaded to show which thing on the ...

I would much rather not finish games where there has been lots of hard fighting but no side totally breaks, instead of not finishing games because my victorious troops could not catch some units of enemy skirmishers even an hour after we have destroyed their main battle line in hard fighting ...

Clarification for Second Row Firing
From the QRS: Medium foot with bow, crossbow or longbow (not bow*) 1 dice per base of 1st shooting rank in effective range 1 dice per 2 bases of 2nd shooting rank or outside effective range Is "or" really meant? That is for outside effective range does the second shooting rank get 1 dice p...

yes the drilled knight BGs were to act on the flank or in rear support to pass the CMT and deploy to either exploit gaps or fend off break throughs on my line. Yes i take the point about the spear not being enough or the risk of being swamped. an alternative i noted was the use of Bedouin allies (L...
