So upgrade w/ patch + playing opponent w/ same version worked.

Upgraded to 1.02. Cant load the same game but that was a game I started with ver 1.00.

I sent an email to my opponent to see what version. It is Frank J from Germany. I think he has version 1.0. In the meantime, I will seek out another opponent and make sure we match versions.

I get the previous game message when trying to load a PBEM. (Still working out the details in another thread). I do get the error using the normal drop down name (clicking it instead of manually typing it in).

Well, that helps a great deal. I was using an existing short-cut on my pc that started the standard game. I went to
C:\Program Files\Slitherine\Military History Commander - Europe at War GOLD folder and found the Grand Stategy Mod there. I started the GS mod and it just hangs at the loading game ...

- Load Multi-player
