Re: Convoy appearance and routes
I created a planning map for CTGW, offering several layers of information. I didn't upload it completely as it is not finished yet. But as it might help here, this is the (incomplete) convoy system. Spawning points are accurate, but I couldn't track down all the possible routes yet. The blue lines r...

Re: Convoy appearance and routes
You can look the convoy spawn coordinates up in the /data/scripts/1914.lua, the first two numbers after the DefineConvoy( part are the coordinates X|Y They can be found about 30 lines before the end of the file. The Germans have 4 spawns, two at the southern map border of the Atlantic, and the two a...

Re: CTGW expansion ?
Sadly the missing response to a thread like this would alone influence me as a developer enough to drop any idea of ever touching the game again. What I don't understand is why they risk to split up communities by offering more than one single gathering point of communication. CTGW players may end t...

Re: Can anybody explain Home port combat bonus?
Yeah well, from now on I think I tend to regard my units being safe only directly in the port, not lingering in that zone surrounding it.

Can anybody explain Home port combat bonus?
According to the manual, we have that zone with a radius of 3 hexes around a home port, providing a combat bonus for our units. Does the exact combat bonus in any way depend on the distance between the unit and the home port hex? Is a unit right in the home port hex gaining more bonus than one adjac...

Re: How do you win as central powers in MP?
I am experiencing the same problem right now. The major issue is the human opponent is knowing the typical german convoy routes and therefor easily blocking them. So you really don't have a chance to keep up in the arms race...

Re: Germany getting manpower via convoys?
The manual says MP generally does not increase. The only exception is that Entente convoys provide 1 MP for every remaining strength point when arriving in port. This represents the constant stream of colonial reinforcements available to some nations. So the Entente should get 1 MP per convoy stengt...

Re: Next build and lack of dev support on steam and matrix f
Yesterday Steam users which played your 1.6openbeta received a tiny 3MB update. There is no documentation to be found anywhere what this patch aims for. Instead your steam customers had to notice by themselves that 1. Their openbeta installations were reverted to 1.5.2 2. Due to that downgrade their...
