Re: Habsburgs are loveable really round 3
This was a great contest of arms, decided by the superior leadership of Sultan Gribol who made great use of the little terrain on an open battle that favoured the Winged Hussars and Pancerni of the Poles.

Re: BALTIC CAMPAIGN AD 1735
The gallant patriotic defenders of Lithuania will fight an open battle against the degenerate Prussian hordes who have dared to show their true colours by perpetrating violence on the peace-loving peoples who live there.

Re: BALTIC CAMPAIGN AD 1735
Following extreme provocation from the descendants of the Teutonic Knights the glorious combined Duchies of Poland and Lithuania have decided on the following moves;
1/ Attack from Lithuania into Prussia
2/ Reinforcement of the above attack
3/ Garrison in Mazovia
4/ Fiscal Reform

Re: BALTIC CAMPAIGN AD 1735
With regards to maps I prefer the one Gribol posted most recently with everyone except the bloody Prussians having 3 neighbours. Having possible contact with every single country overwhelms our simple Polish brains, we like things simple direct and with huge moustaches

Re: BALTIC CAMPAIGN AD 1735
A couple of questions;
if we use your new map does that mean that many of the provinces are in contact with 5 enemy provinces at the start of the campaign?
What does the Capital do, I think you had an explanation in the original rules but it was removed when when you changed the rules?

Re: BALTIC CAMPAIGN AD 1735
Greetings, if there is still a space available I'd like to be either Poland or Prussia. I disagree about the attacker needing an extra 100 points. These battles are full of units that break easily and the armies break much earlier than the core game. I actually think they favour the attacker rather ...

Re: Habsburgs are loveable really round 2
We have crushed the Dutch revolt lead by the heretic Doyley50 by 49% to 21%. We were outnumbered but our foot were of better quality, especially the Tercios of Spain itself. The foot fought each other across a river. A gap in his line allowed my light foot to run down his artillery batteries and the...

Re: Habsburgs are loveable really round 2
Brian, there is definitely a Ottoman army 1560-1569, it is actually a pro- imperial army you need to turn off the key so you can see all armies both pro and anti imperial. The real problem is the Hungarians finish in 1526. Can you please use Polish 1525-1558. Tyrone, the exact dates aren't that impo...

Re: Habsburgs are loveable Round 1
After an epic struggle the righteous Habsburgs have beaten the revolting peasants commanded by the arch-rebel TyroneC by 50% to 60%. The early stages saw some manouvering for position with both forces occupying a hill on their right while withdrawing from the opposite hill. Eventually we stood on ou...

Re: CAMPAIGN ANNO DOMINI 1740
I am happy for the local commander Dilly to have assumed command, he will of course be given a fair trial and then executed. This absolves all those higher up the chain of command from any blame whatsoever in these unfortunate events
